Better than hanging towels on hooks
This is a nice towel rack. Pretty sturdy with a decent covering of black mottled power-coat that doesn’t look like it will scratch easily. For residential use I think it will hold up just fine. We have a couple of hooks for hanging towels but they’ll dry off much faster on a rack like this, and there’s enough room for additional towels when we have guests.It was easy to assemble with the enclosed tools. One thing I really appreciate in a product that needs to be assembled is extra hardware. There were a couple of extra screws for holding the legs on the base, and an extra rubber tip for the legs. The tips for the legs don’t fit real snugly so I’d recommend using a little bit of silicone sealant, so they won’t accidentally come off.The description says “and Beach Use” but I think using this on the beach would be overkill. Yes you can assemble and disassemble it, but you’ll probably get sand in the pieces and it just seems like it would be a hassle. And unlike an umbrella, there’s nothing to hold it in place unless you also want to drag some sandbags to the beach, so a good gust of wind could send it flying into other beachgoers. Please don’t be one of those people.
