So heavy
This is a really heavy frame. I wasn’t sure what to expect, maybe hollow platic painted to look like a gilded frame, but this is the real deal, not real gold, but it is heavy and solid like a real antique frame.It arrived with a lot of padding which is a good thing, but I think one drop could crack it in half.It looks so fantastic with my canvas artwork. I do think I will brush on a little bit of dark waz to give a more aged look, I’m not a big fan of bright and brassy golds, but a little bit of toning down with emphasize the antique nature of this frame.
