I bought these frames to go in my French themed bedroom and oh my god, they are STUNNING. I wanted something that looked baroque and royal and these totally hit the mark. Five stars, great quality and not too heavy. Also, for the price they are great. A lot of the other baroque style frames I saw on Amazon were more expensive and not as pretty

Because there are multiple boxes to pack the set in, I decided to present the gift to my granddaughter with a photograph of the set. Every other picture frame I’ve owned has the glass as a separate piece, held in place by an indentation in the frame.For some damn reason this frame has the glass caulked in place on the inside with some kind of glue. And there’s a big lump of this glue in one corner of the frame, interfering with how the picture fits into it.Actually, I don’t know if it’s the glue that’s the issue or if the frame itself is just built off-kilter. But my point is that the art print I have in it doesn’t sit straight. And unfortunately the wonkiness is *super obvious* because the print has a white border on it; you can really see how the border and the edge of the frame aren’t parallel.It’s a really pretty frame, and I guess I’ll either try to make my peace with the art being crooked OR put something in the frame that doesn’t have a border so the issue won’t be obvious. But I’m annoyed that I bought a frame specifically for this print and it doesn’t look right.Oh also, just from handling the frame while I put the print into it, I got some little metallic flakes on my hands. Not a huge deal (it’s not like picture frames generally get touched a lot) but I thought it was worth noting.
