Why and how to distinguish string light wires?
Gauge wire is the diameter of copper, the smaller the gauge wire, the greater the diameter in inches.Only 18 gauge wire or above are ETL certified for permanent outdoor string lights, 20 gauge wire or below are only suitable for 90 days seasonal use.To distinguish a wire, not only consider its thickness, but more importantly, its model. Because some sellers just increase the thickness of the outer rubber to make the wire look thicker, in fact the copper wire inside is still a thinner diameter.

These string lights are a solid choice for outdoor spaces. The shatterproof plastic bulbs feel sturdy, and they handle rain well. Love these lights, they came in early which always exceeds your expectations, and they work great. What was key and the reason I bought these was the ability to string about 2,000 feet together. This was important because I was using the lights for a wedding ballroom.

Quick Fix
A few of my lightbulbs no longer worked after awhile and I needed to replace them. I reached out to the company and their customer service department quickly sent me an entire replacement set of lights. Now everything works beautifully again.

The only thing I find is that the lights should be 2 ft apart not 3ft. Also 96ft string is hard to handle when trying to install the lights . Maybe two strings of 48 ft each
