This was my second purchase of this umbrella. The other I purchased a year ago from another source. It faded as any would do in the Texas sun. I love the scallop. I just wanted a second shaded spot on my patio. Amazon was $65.00 less than my other source for the same brand and style and color.

Buyer beware, defective parts considered ânormalâ
This is a very expensive umbrella which arrived with a manufacturing defect. I requested a refund and to return the item. Consonant Homes has a review process to determine if they will approve the return. They required a photo of the damage and then decided it was normal and that I would have to pay to ship it back. Iâve requested that a manager contact me but all I got was the same response. This is normal and you will have to pay to ship it back. Normal? Itâs hard to crank open because of the bent metal, itâs loose and will surely snap on a windy day, itâs clearly defective. Extremely disappointed that Amazon allows this bad customer service. Buyer beware. There are other sturdy umbrellas for half the price.
