Colorful Pool Lights with a Few Quirks
I bought these rechargeable pool lights to add some pizzazz to my above-ground pool for summer, and I gotta say, they do make quite a splash! The colors are nice and vibrant – my kids especially love the blue and green hues. And man, are they bright! Way better than those dinky little battery-operated ones I used to have. Speaking of batteries, it’s pretty sweet not having to constantly swap out AAs. Just plug ’em in for a few hours and you’re good to go for days. I’ve only had to recharge them once so far this season, and we’ve been using them pretty regularly for nighttime swims. I was a little worried about how well they’d stick to the sides of my pool, since it’s not exactly a smooth surface. But the adhesive seems to be holding up well – no unexpected “diving lights” yet! The magnets are handy too for sticking them on the ladder. The remote is mostly pretty convenient, but I have had a few times where I had to mash the “on” button a few times to get it to respond. And despite the claim of a 200ft range, I’ve found it works best when I’m within about 20-30 feet of the pool. Any further and it’s hit or miss. I did notice a bit of condensation inside one of the lights after a particularly humid night, which made me raise an eyebrow. No leaks or malfunctions so far, but I’m keeping an eye on it. Finger’s crossed the waterproofing holds up! My only other small gripe is that toggling through all the different color modes to get back to my favorite can be a bit of a pain. Would be nice if there was a way to save presets or something. But all in all, these pool lights have been a fun addition to our summer swim setup. They add a nice ambiance for evening dips and have held up pretty well to regular use. Just don’t expect absolute perfection – there are a few minor quirks to contend with. But for the price and the cool factor, I’d say they’re worth a shot!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Lights are ok but glue doesn’t hold at all
I got these for a camping bucket light. They work fine but take a while to recharge. Also, the glue does not work. The lights would not stay with the glue that came with them. I used something different and haven’t had a problem.

Works Really Well?!
Surprisingly work really well. Charges quickly, and holds a charge well too.

Unbelievable
I was really skeptical of this item, but after 5 weeks of use, it is still working great! I installed this on the stairs of my pool and it has been submerged for the majority of the time since. I have had to recharge the light approximately 3 times, but return it underwater after it is done charging. I use the light every time we have people over and really have no idea how the battery lasts for so long. I did have some difficulties changing the light color while it was a few feet underwater but found it I held the remote closer, it worked perfectly. There are about 8-10 different colors that you can set the light to and about 3-5 different strobes/patters the lights can flash, fade or stay on. Overall, this is a professional level product!

The remote won’t turn the lights on if they submerged more than a few inches in the pool

From the very start, one light only partially lit up. The central LEDs in that one did not work at all.Other than that, the quality seems fine. We’ve only used them for a few hours and they float, and provide a nice light underwater. It would have been nice to get suction cups for mounting as well, considering the price. If the suction cups are available by themselves, I hope the seller will contact me to advise how we could obtain them.
