Seem well made, look great, good amount of light
These are higher quality than I expected. The feel high quality, and the lighting effect is similar to what is in the pictures. I put 6 of them on the fence on the side of my yard (corner lot) and another one over my shed door.It wasn’t totally clear to me at first if the power button needed to be pushed every day. It does not, the power mode is set once and then when it gets light the light shuts down, but then when it gets dark again the light switches back on with the same settings. That is exactly how I would want it to work.Since these point down they don’t create a lot of light pollution and have an “elegant” look.Installation was simple, just use the template to put in a couple of screws and slide the light on. My only concern is that someone could just come along and slip them off (or turn them off) if they are in a public place, like mine that are on a fence facing a public sidewalk.Seems like a good value.

The work as intended.
Installation the hardest part… but these cannot be mounted any other way. So make sure you have a drill bit and some patience. Don’t lose the paper strip that’s a guide for spacing the screws.These solar lights are bright enough, as you can see from the picture, I set them at the highest and warm color. I don’t think you need them to be brighter but I don’t know. I wanted them as an accent and some light as we sit on the deck at dusk/night. One doesn’t light up (see photo). I’ll troubleshoot in the next few days. I have others like them and they are built well. The battery life is what you expect; it can last through the night after a sunny day (it’s been sunny since I put them up). Whether the batteries will last over the year(s) remains to be seen. I’ll update if they don’t last at least 1 year.

Easy install and not just for fences!
These lights work great and I believe they are not just for fencing! I didnât use mine on our privacy fenceâ¦instead, I placed them around the edge of our deck! I have some landscaping directly below and thereâs a stone sort of sidewalk around the house on that side. By using the lights thereâ¦they light up the landscaping nicely as well as the pathway at night! So, I get to use them as feature lighting as they would be on a fence as well as creating usable light for the pathway.These lights are easy to install and since them slide onto the screw hardware they come withâ¦you can easily remove them if you are staining or panting any wood. They look great and produce a lot more viable light than you may be thinkingâ¦I know they surprised me! Just remember to set them to the light color (warm or cold) and preferred intensity the first evening that you install them! I was expecting that they would automatically come on at night after installation as long as I touched the button once. I couldnât figure out why they werenât coming onâ¦.then I read instruction better (my mistake!) and realized I did it wrong! lol Just hold the button to press and pick your preference and they do the rest! I think these are a great dealâ¦they work for fencing surelyâ¦but, also on the edging or a deck or porch to highlight your landscaping as well as lending you light to see better at night!

Some brands of solar lights (like this one) have come so far when it comes to faster charging and battery life that the lights come on at the first sign of dusk and stay bright all night until dawn. I get up between 5:30 and 6:30 am every day. And, these lights are still lit. I didnât even know that was possible. These lights are made to withstand the outdoor elements and Iâm confident theyâre going to give us years of trouble-free performance. If, youâve avoided buying solar lights because they werenât bright enough or didnât last long enough, put those fears aside with these. Theyâre worth the tiny investment and they look nice too.

I wasnât expecting much when I first picked up these solar fence lights, but they ended up being a solid upgrade. They put out 250 lumensâmuch brighter than typical solar lightsâand the double optical lens gives a clean, focused beam that actually lights up the area well.Being able to switch between warm white, cool white, and natural white is a nice touch. I like using the warmer tones for a cozy feel and switching to cooler light when I need better visibility. The six lighting modes, including breathing effects, add a bit of flair too.Setup was super easy. No wires to deal withâjust a few screws and they were ready to go. They even include a template to help space the screws perfectly, which saved me time and made the install much cleaner. They go on easily with a screwdriver if youâre mounting to a wooden fence, but if youâre planning to install them on brick or concrete, youâll need a drill bit for that surface.They feel sturdy and well-made. After a few rainy days, theyâve held up with no signs of water damage or dimming. The IP65 waterproof rating seems to hold true.Overall, theyâve been a great addition. Simple, good-looking, and reliable outdoor lighting thatâs easy to install and customize.

I’ve purchased multiple sets of railing lights, each of which did a nice job initially of lighting walkways and decks; however, none of them have stood the test of time, the last set mostly going into the garbage after just a year’s service. This set of 8 double LED lights, however, seem to be a different breed.First impressions: a) at 5.25″ in length, with two sets of LEDs each positioned under a proper round lens, I suspected these lights would perform above past railing lights. I was not wrong; see photos. Instead of providing a gentle glow or speckled pattern, these lights wash a large, well-defined area with bright illumination. b) the lights are turned on and off via a 5 second “long press” on the switch – see instruction sheet – and can then be tailored to your liking for colour temperature (cold white to warm glow) and intensity & effect by cycling through the options, one brief press on the button at a time. c) the weight, size, build quality and design features of this set of 8 lights inspire confidence that they will last a decent amount of time, certainly measured in years, not months. But of course, time will tell.From my perspective, this set of 8 railing/garden wall lights is exactly what someone who needs bright and focused illumination is looking for. Of course time will tell how well they stand up to the weather, but right now they inspire confidence.Recommended for tailored illumination, especially for garden walls, challenging footpaths or steps. 5 out of 5.

This offers several attractive colors, and is brightness adjustable. The solar power is strong enough to recharge for several hours of use. The amount of sunlight needed to keep the batteries flow seems to be adequate and not too demanding at lower brightness levels. At higher brightness you may get fewer hours. The build quality is durable and these are easy to install, without the need for wiring setups.
