After assembling this I THOUGHT it was defective as it was dribbling everywhere. Make sure to strongly push the tubing firmly into the connectors. Instead of a light click it should go in about a 1/4 inch with a firm jump ensuring itâs properly seated. That being said, it works great! A nice high pressure fine mist to keep you cool

I have had misters for years. always by the PVC pipe systems. Thought I’d try this hose-type. The jets I have used before atomized the water a little better. These are a little too wet.

A+ rating on this mister. Installation was super easy.I live in California and the temperature kept climbing so I took a chance on these misters to help with cooling the air a bit around my pergola. I’m glad I tried these misters out, they worked perfectly. They did help cool the air about maybe 10 degrees and the kids loved to sit under them to cool off.One important thing to remember while you are installing the misters is to make sure you push the tube all the way into the mister housing, you should feel like a small click, then try to pull it out to make sure they are secure. I didn’t do that in my first test and it leaked, after I learned to push the hose in harder into the housing I had no leaks at all.I installed these misters around my pergola using zip ties and it took about 30 minutes. I first ran the tube from my spigot all around my pergola while attaching them with the zip ties. After the tube was secure I went back and used the tube cutter tool to add in my misters. I installed them about 2 feet from each other to avoid any over misting.For the last mister, I didn’t want to end it with a mister and wanted more tubing to continue to secure it to the pergola so after the last working mister I continued the tubing and at the end of the tubing I just filled it with some window silicone to clog it and it worked good.

Despite its promises of cooling outdoor spaces and creating a refreshing oasis, this DIY kit fell short in every aspect, leaving me questioning its quality and functionality.â¨First and foremost, the build quality of this misting system was abysmal. The components felt flimsy and cheap, and it seemed like they wouldn’t withstand even the mildest weather conditions. When I attempted to install the mist hose on my patio, it kinked and twisted easily, making the setup process a frustrating ordeal.â¨Once I managed to set up the misting system, the performance was lackluster at best. The water leaked everywhere and the installation instructions were virtually useless and the mist never emitted from the nozzles. It hardly provided the cooling effect I had anticipated, rendering it useless on hot summer days.â¨The promised versatility of this kit was also a letdown. While it claimed to be suitable for various outdoor settings, such as porches, canopies, decks, umbrellas, gardens, greenhouses, yards, and even trampolines, it didn’t work well in any of these scenarios. The misting system’s limited coverage and inconsistent water dispersion made it impractical for any outdoor space, regardless of size or purpose.â¨Adding insult to injury, the “sprinkler accessories for kids” aspect was nothing more than a gimmick. The mist produced was too feeble to entertain children on a trampoline or anywhere else, making it a pointless feature for families looking for outdoor play options.In conclusion, the Misters for Outside Patio – Misting System for Cooling Outdoor proved to be a total waste of time and money. Its poor build quality, inadequate length, subpar performance, and false claims of versatility make it a regrettable purchase. I strongly advise potential buyers to seek alternative misting systems that are better constructed, efficient, and genuinely deliver on their promises of providing a cooling oasis in outdoor spaces. This product is an absolute disappointment and should be avoided at all costs.

Drip a lot – not very fine mist
I have a more expensive version of this from drip depot and although the setup looks the same, these have some coarse spray with a lot of big drips. This makes sitting underneath totally non-viable and anything below (e.g. couch on deck) will be soaked making sitting in it later unpleasant.
