All the features you look for in an outdoor light set.
These lights are perfect for my patio. I like the fact the bulb is plastic so you donât have to worry about them breaking. The LEDs give off a warm glow and easily dim to your preferred brightness. I use them at my house and summer home and leave them up all year. I put up my first string 4 years ago and the bulbs are going strong.

Love these. We ended up buying a 2nd set we liked them so well. Our campsite looks great. Just use a drill for the holes and pop them right in. We get compliments all the time.

When it came I was surprised how small the box was and opened I was concerned it was going to be more wire than lights. But it worked out very well for my screen porch. The bulbs being none glass is great and the dimmer is a plus. The only complaint I have is that only one spare bulb came with the set. It would have been nice to have at least three. Will see how they last as time goes by

These are 240v garden light which will run from the mains power or an ac power pack. You get 8 bulbs across about 7.6 metres of cable which is already a substantial length and would do for a small patio area or to go around a large parasol. The bulbs are tough plastic so there are no concerns regarding breakages. I love the retro incandescent look LED lights. They are bright enough to see well by but not too bright to spoil the ambience. The remote and the wall plug allow different flashing and brightness modes to be toggled through. I actually care less for flashing modes; I just want a steady non-invasive light I can sit outside with on a summers evening and sip a drink with friends. Luckily these lights do provide that light.The bulbs are wired in parallel and as such a removed or broken bulb has no effect on the other bulbs. A spare bulb is provided. There is a fixing hole at the base of each bulb holder to allow them to be hung up. I actually prefer the hook type fixture but itâs not a major hassle.One of the most useful features of these lights is that they can be detached from the mains plug and strung together with other string lights using the same fitting, so you can create very long lengths of them in running from one plug.

I was going to give this set of lights 4 stars because I found the plug adapter too big for our outdoor socket and cover but have found a workaround so am going to give them 5. This set is really good, it’s long at 50 feet and the lights are bright but can be dimmed with the included remote which works well when you want to sit in the garden in the evening and have a more subtle glow.The bulbs are strong and have resisted a few knocks and I like the fact that they have hook areas so they can be hung on a screw or hook and don’t just need to be strung and wound around something. So far they’ve last bad weather but time will tell if there’s any water ingress into the bulbs. So far, so good.

These 7.5m garden Lights that are remote controlled are a great addition to and garden, terrace, or balcony.There are powerful enough to create a nice light, but not to bright.The are a bit shorter than my previous sets, and only take 8 bulbs, but still pretty enough.The remote is handy, but I’m thinking it does over complicate things a little. All my previous sets are on smart plugs, so easy enough to swith on and off, plus a timer.The remote does give you a flashing function.The bulbs are made from plastic so should not shatter, so very safe.Good value.

Although these LED string lights are waterproof and advertised as being suitable for outdoor use the very short amount of cable from the mains plug to the first lamp is far too short (1.4m) and so loses a star. If you have an outside power supply this may not be an issue but there should have been at least 3m of cable before the first lamp for outdoor use to be feasible for all scenarios.Having said that the lamps are of a good size and the inclusion of a remote control is to be welcomed although not essential as the lights can be controlled to a limited degree by a button on the mains plug. There are options to alter the brightness, length of time they are illuminated or as to whether they pulse or âbreatheâ (at a user defined rate) or are constant.I was hoping to attach these lamps along my fence but due to the limitations of the short initial lead have to restrict to indoors. It is good that you can add additional strings of lights as although the cabling is 25ft there are only 8 lamps (with 1 spare lamp included). However, they are well made, shatterproof and can be recommended.
