FRONT LEGS – BUYER BEWARE!
Update – January 11th, 2024Since my first review, I reached out to the vendor. I must say I received a high level of cooperation, they were diligent in their quick responses to me each time and I was very pleased with the feedback and the after sales service. I received an apology for the inconvenience caused and they were gracious enough to compensate me with another HUIMO product of my choice. In addition the vendor sent me 4 new versions of front legs, redesigned to be stronger than the previous ones. I thank them very much and happy to say that I am now a satisfied customer. On that basis, I have updated from 3 stars to 5 stars.December 26th, 2023My bubble bursted yesterday on Christmas Day 2023 when one of my chairs collapsed under one of my guests! What an embarrassment for chairs less than 2 months in my apartment and what a Christmas gift! I live alone and aside from sitting on the chairs when they were assembled, I have not sat on them since. The real test came on Christmas Day.Pros:What I love most about the chairs is the rich beige/creamy/ivory color tone. First glance at them they appear well constructed, they look expensive, great design and an elevated look among my other living room furniture. They were very easy to assemble and so I did not require assistance from anyone. I love that the chairs has good depth and comfortable when I sat on them the first day. The back legs are heavily constructed with legs securely bolted in with 2 large screws each.Cons:You can never determine quality from looks! My initial thought was I had gotten quality product. Was I so wrong! What I perceived as quality took a humiliating nose dive on the day when all I needed was happiness, joy and laughter. I was partly robbed of that. The front legs are poorly constructed! Bad idea to construct legs for a chair with just a flimsy screw to connect it to the chair. My guest was far from the maximum weight capacity. Very deceptive information. Giving a window of return for approx 1 month is somewhat unfair. My window of return has passed, so what a waste of my money, my time and effort searching on Amazon for months trying to make sure I purchased the perfect chair. I generally buy one and buy a second one if I love the first. Now I am disappointed with myself as well for not following my own rule.I may try to reach out to the seller. Buying furniture is like an investment. I lost on this investment and honestly believe I should be compensated.

Exactly what I was looking for
These chairs are so beautiful, and look perfect in my formal living room. They came quicker than expected. They were packed very well; the legs and all the installation pieces were stored safely in a zippered compartment under the seats. Assembly was quick and easy and the backs and legs all fit perfectly. My husband, (who is a wood-worker) said the chairs were put together very well. The legs have caps on the bottoms making them very easy to move around without damaging your floor. They are sturdy and fairly comfortable for an accent chair and I love that they can support up to 400 lbs. The seats cushions are firm, but comfy. The backs are lightly padded and quite firm. You definitely need a cushion behind your back for extra padding and comfort. The chairs did come with small lumbar pillows but I purchased some decorative pillows that makes the backs more comfortable. I love the fabric; it is a very nice, soft, cream linen-ey type fabric and the tufting is gorgeous and makes the chair look high-end. I like that the seat cushion covers contain zippers to remove them for cleaning. Overall, I could not be more pleased with the chairs at the price point I paid for them. I like them better than other chairs I had seen for a higher price and I searched for a long time for the perfect chairs. My only desire is that matching ottomans were available for them.

Very nice chairs (updated review)
UPDATE 9/8/2024Iâve had the chairs since May 2024. I sit in one of them everyday and the seat cushion is getting weak. Maybe I should switch up and not sit in one so much, but at (175lbs) I think the seat cushions will need to be replaced. The seat cushions make these chairs more for show and occasional use rather than daily seating (unless youâre about 100lbs or less) for them to last a long time. You canât flip the cushions either so Iâll have to replace them. Bummer.Original review:These chairs were easy to assemble and well made. The color is as shown online and matches my decor. They are very retro modern. I do wish the back was a little higher. The width of cushion is what I was hoping for. The cushion is a bit firm. Good quality chairs.

Pretty nice set for the money
Got the set and found one had a misaligned screw recipient so I had to use a drill to open a hole in the wood so that the screw would align to secure the back to the chair. Other wise they were easy to put together and look great. One of the chairs does have slightly crooked legs due to non-perpendicular screw holes. A little more attention to detail and these would be a steal for the price.
