Functionable and just what I needed
Better than I expected tbh. Less than 30 minutes to assemble, and I’m rather… inept when it comes to construction, so that’s saying something! I like the lockable feature although the back part isn’t connected so if someone really wanted to they could lift it the other way and squeeze some stuff out…. luckily I’m storing outdoor pillows and weed barrier spray so I likely won’t be robbed, but just so you know!

My first one came in totally broken. All the ends were smashed. It is not packaged well and we had negative temps. I filed a claim for a replacent and had it in a few days. I just assembled it and I love it. Not something I’d want to relax on for a long time but it’s not a bad seat. Super sturdy cuz in a fatty and it didn’t budge, squeak or even cry out when I sat on it. Planning on getting another for our pool area this summer. Easy assembly, everything clicks in place and only a few screws to put in predrilled hole. Would have been 5 star if it was packed better.

So difficult to assemble
We bought two of these. I don’t like giving one star to any company, but you should know that assembly was difficult. It snaps together, and the sides are so big and light-weight that it makes it difficult to keep one side snapped while you snap the other side. The snaps kept popping loose. It took an hour and two people to make it stay together. The six screws go in last. After finally setting the seat/lid on, which is the last piece in assembly, we discovered one side had come unsnapped making the lid not close snuggly on that side and leaving a hole for water leakage. Ahhh! Faced with disassembly and reassembly or using his fist, my husband whacked the side in a feeble attempt to re-snap that side. Instead, the plastic material split. We kept the one we damaged and sent the other back to Amazon. I suggest the company rethink their design.

Plastic but solid
It’s a heavy duty plastic. Kind of like those Lil Tikes kid furniture. But it’s really sturdy and holds larger pots nicely!
