Nice looking but check your junction box first!
These lights are quite nice looking – one would think they were a lot more expensive too. I had one problem mounting them, and it might affect you too. BEFORE you even open the box, remove your old light fixture and check the junction box. To mount these lights, you have to screw in a mounting bracket, and it must NOT be mounted horizontally. That is because the swiveling cross piece that the light actually attaches to MUST be horizontal so that the light sits straight. If both are horizontal, the screws that hold the light hit the cross bar and cannot be backed out. In my case, the bracket would only mount horizontally. However, I was able to get around this by unscrewing the junction box itself and turning it about a quarter turn, then screwing it back into the wall. Then I was able to easily mount the light. It looks rally nice, especially with some clear Edison style LED bulbs with spiral filaments.

Nice light fixtures – just thin
I got this 2 light fixture set to replace my exterior porch and garage side door lights. These look fantastic and work perfectly. I love that the light bulbs are easy access via the open bottom, the fixtures are metal and glass – not plastic – which is great. They are an exact match to the pictures, a very classy design look and perfect size for what I needed. These are not the large size fixtures commonly seen in front of homes especially beside overhead garage doors, these are porch size so double check your measurements. As for installation, overall installation isn’t very difficult, to be clear though I have installed many indoor and outdoor light fixtures (I am not an electrician). I think I spent about 45 minutes replacing both.Couple things to advise – I did not like the included twist wire connectors so I used some I already had that better for exterior use. Light bulbs are not included so plan ahead, however any standard A26 base bulb should work in a pinch. The mounting bracket included is not the strongest or made of the thickest metal, I wish they had included better quality brackets. Since I was replacing old fixtures already in place, I used the older brackets. They are the exact same style, pretty standard for light fixtures, but they were better quality. Personal preference of course. If you use the included brackets be cautious not to over tighten or you might bend the bracket a little. Another small item is the cap hex nuts provided, the “caps” are weak and the caps break off easily. I did not use the included, but again went to my garage and used stronger ones that I had on hand.My only true criticism is the metal used for all parts of the fixture is thin. For the MSRP listed price of $49.99 I would keep looking but if on sale then I would think worth the money. Time will tell how durable they are.
