An elegant 60+ hour Yuzu scented candle!
This is a very nice candle! The scent is Yuzu, a citrus fruit and plant in the family Rutaceae of Chinese origin. The aroma is lemony, with a very subtle hint of spices underneath. The wax is 100% soy wax, which is common with scented candles. There is 12.4 oz of wax inside this 16oz mason jar, and has a rated burn time of about 60 hours. When you are done with the candle, you’ve got yourself a perfectly good mason jar!The packaging was excellent, and really gives me confidence in this company. If they went and spent this much just on the presentation of the item, then this effort usually belies a similar amount of effort put into the item itself, and in this case it is true.The single wick is an actual wick, not just a length of string in some other candles. There is much more than needed when shipped, and as per the instructions, it should be burned until the max is entirely liquid on top, then snipped to about 1/4″ long. Nice scent, beautiful packaging
I got the Vanilla Warm Oak scent, it’s cozy and pleasant, nothing too mind-blowing. The scent is soft and comforting, however it didn’t quite fill the room the way I was hoping. That said, it does burn cleanly and evenly, and the soy wax and plant-based ingredients are definitely a plus.The packaging, though, is really lovely. It felt like a thoughtful gift even just opening it for myselfâsweet details, cute in person, and absolutely gift-worthy without needing to dress it up. Nice vanilla oak scent in a good candle.
This candle has a lovely and subtle vanilla oak scent that I find relaxing. The scent doesn’t travel far in my apartment, reaching from the kitchen to about half the neighboring dining area. The candle burns evenly and looks nice after the candle has been extinguished. The maker advises trimming the wick after each use and not allowing the melted wax to over accumulate, so this may not be appropriate to leave burning too long.

I didn’t care for the smell at all and it is far from a light scent. It reminds me of an alcoholic drink of some kind that I get nauseous even thinking about. Something with whiskey! Maybe a whiskey sour? I don’t know…something I had too much of once.It is STRONG. Reading the reviews, if I didn’t know any better, I would say that we had different candles.So…this candle wasn’t for me but as you can see from other comments, others do like the smell it gives off. The packaging is super cute and I can tell that it was “poured in Wisconsin with love,” as the jar says, so that’s why I gave it 3 stars. I’m sure the product itself is great if you like the smell.

Clean Burning Organic Candle with a Subtle Scent
This is a lovely candle with a subtle citrus scent. It comes beautifully packaged in a purpose-built box that cradles the glass jar and protects it, but it also makes for a great gift box. (I had originally intended to give this as a gift, but I liked it so much, that Iâm keeping it!)This is an artisan, small batch candle, hand poured into a mason-style glass jar, and it comes with an organic pedigree. Itâs made in the USA from soy wax, features a cotton wick, and it burns clean and without emitting harsh chemicals. I just started using it, so I canât verify the 50-hour burn time, but I did note that one of the photographs in the product listing says that the burn time is actually as many as 60 hours. Either way, thatâs an extraordinary burn time and represents a great value if youâre looking to create a serene spa-like experience in your home.

Large and smells great. Made in the USA!
I chose the Yuzu Mandarin scent, and it is a wonderful candle, especially now that spring is here and the weather is warming up. Of course you could use it any time of year, but it has a crisp, refreshing, citrusy scent that seems perfect for celebrating the beautiful spring weather we’ve been having. It’s a cheerful, energetic scent that is also luxurious. The candle is large and I love the creamy white soy wax. White wax is my favorite as I am not that crazy about colored wax candles. In addition to smelling terrific, the soy wax is smooth and it burns clean. The candle is large and looks great. I’m impressed with its size, scent and overall quality. I also love that these candles are hand-poured in Wisconsin. I’m also impressed with the Bare Botanic brand. They not only make candles, but also body oils, salt scrubs, and other skincare items, all of which are cruelty free and all-natural. This brand is such a great find!

Lasts a long time, looks nice, scent is light and not quite on
There’s a lot to like about this candle. It looks great even unlit, in a real mason jar. It’s handy to be able to screw on the top when not using the candle. It seems to last a very long time. I’ve burnt it for maybe 6 hours already, and it barely has gone down at all! The price seems in line with similar candles. My only real issue with the candle is the scent. It’s a nice scent, but very light, and it also doesn’t really hit me as vanilla oak. It’s got a little vanilla to it, but not much—and there is almost some kind of minty scent, which isn’t my favorite. If you don’t have your heart set on a strong vanilla oak scent, you will probably really like the other aspects of this candle!
