Just finished putting it up, looks great, seems like sturdy metal and tough tarp, although I will probably take off tarp during heavy windstorms….

Functional
Functional and gets the job done. During heavy rain the water does pool. It comes with anchors you’re supposed to use to fix it to the ground. There is no way those anchors will prevent this from blowing away with winds higher than 30 mph. I bolted it to my wooden deck. Hopefully the canopy can survive the STX sun! It’s only 100lbs so understand it’s limitations if you’re in an area with high winds. Overall, I like it. Instructions suck though.

Too flimsy
Extremely flimsy. First moderate winds and the entire thing twisted, completely shearing the metal in some places. Only had it a few months before it ended up in a twisted pile.

Fabrication issues
Had some construction issues (crossbar holder too weak) and holes not the right size so had to make some modifications just to get it to fit.

We have an uncovered deck that is in the sun all day. This covers the outdoor table and six chairs with shade, enabling us to entertain on that deck all day.
