Long narrow LIGHT WEIGHT (Build one using the parts from two to make stronger) raised garden beds are very easy to plant into and harvest. These are very nice quality, appear a bit wobbly before adding soil which firms the structure up quite well. Bought two, ordered two more and then four more. Obviously happy with them. Cotton gloves are supplied with them because before assembly some edges will easily cut skin, as easily as a sharp razor, but now I have put more than one together, I don’t use the gloves (edit: mistake cut myself again, difficult to hold the nuts with those gloves on during assembly), know which areas to avoid handling them by. Once assembled there are no exposed sharp edges which is a must, plastic guards are included which won’t come off once assembled to the four corner pieces which are not rolled.Only thing I don’t like is assembling them but doesn’t really take that long. I’ve read a negative one star buyer review here about how these are not strong enough to use a wheel barrel to dump dirt into them because the sides are too flimsy, yes, you cannot do that, they are thick enough as raised beds but not for putting a wheel barrel on them, or your knee etc. The person who left that report should have known better seeing how thin the sheets are, corrugation helps, but not enough . The price is low due to weight, it isn’t an industrial heavy duty raised garden bed! However, since each box contains two of them, if you want heavy duty double up on each side, there is nothing preventing from doing so.

Perfect for what I need it for 🙂
I am a 35 year old woman and this was light enough for me to carry around and build alone. Holy cow the worst part was peeling the film off the sheets of metal and be careful because itâs sharpe. Iâm hard headed though and did not use the enclosed gloves but I should have. Parts were a little bent at the tips but I just used a screw driver and my finger and bent it back into place. Came with all the screws and nuts you just need a Philips head screw driver and maybe a wrench Iâm lazy though and used my fingers. Took about 40 bags of soil to fill the bed I got a 12×4. My body hates me after filling that sucker up but it looks great and is exactly what I wanted without paying a million bucks. Iâm placing another order this week for a few more. Iâll tell you as a mom of 6 I have no time or patience to be wasted so this right here is a zero bull review. lol I highly recommend, make sure youâre not getting this for deep rooted veggie unless youâre tilling the ground below I just threw some cardboard boxes down to keep weeds at bag I didnât even remove the grass the cardboard will suffocate it so should be good and you can add rocks or logs/sticks to help with a filler but I just filed it with organic mulch chips, top soil and compost I also threw my grass clippings in since I mowed the lawn that morning.

Nice, narrow but 12 ft long.
These narrow beds went together easily and work great. Perfect for double rows and not too wide to manage crops. Plants grow well in themSupports hold their shape. Average thickness. Tin look blends into farm look well.

Additional Sturdiness for cold climates freezing affects
Sturdiness – they are nice units and relatively easy to assemble. I suggest that during assembly 2 – two hole straps be drilled and mounted at the center of each panel + at the 3 cross connects. The 3/4″ straps will support a 12″ length of PVC plumbing pipe to which a 24″ + length of rebar can pass thru into the ground for sidewall support. In warm climates where it does not freeze – may not be necessary. However, in cold climates where it does freeze – this can help minimize damage and bulging of the sidewalls.

Make sure to install corner pieces correctly
Take your time putting it together. Make sure your corner piece are the same the whole way around with sides on the outside of corners. Priced well and overall thin metal but works great. See pictures about 20 min to assemble 2.

Warning â ï¸ wear protective gloves
Warning: before you open the box wear gloves that a knife cannot cut thru. I opened the box and sliced open my thumb on the metal before I even got to the gloves they provided. Which are not adequate for the sharpness of these sheets of metal. Hence the 4 stars. The beds themselves are very easy to assemble 1 person can do it. If you plan on putting them on weed protectant fabric or a tarp be cautious moving the metal it will cut with thru. So be sure to pick up not slide them to the positions you choose.
