    Great Instructions
These seeds took a while to get to me, but I feel sure it will be worth the wait. We have a couple of ponds in the back yard and beyond them, a real 40 acre lake, here in FL. The previous owners had some water plants they left for us, but I want to have more. I will be waiting to begin this endeavor until after a trip next week. You need to change water in the pots twice a day in the beginning and later stage, water needs changing every 3 – 5 days. So make sure you will be home for a while to get these started out on the right foot. I also need to procure the proper bowls size wise. These will be eventually floating in ponds or by the lake shore. Can’t wait to get started. And very, very happy to have such excellent instructions. In a few months, if I remember, I hope to add an update of how these all developed.

Good germination rate, pretty flowers, lots of seeds for a great price.
Review of 200pcs Lotus Seeds for Planting – 10 Unique VarietiesI recently purchased the 200pcs Lotus Seeds for Planting, and I have to say, it has been an incredibly rewarding experience so far. This set includes 10 unique varieties of lotus seeds in mixed colors, which not only adds diversity to my water garden but also brings vibrancy with their stunning flowers.Starting with the germination process, I was pleasantly surprised by how easily these seeds took root. Following the detailed planting guide provided, I saw results within just a few weeks. For just $20, this package offers an impressive quantity of seeds—far more than I anticipated needing. In fact, I may even sell some of my extra plants at the local farmers market or online once they flourish. It’s a huge plus that this kit is budget-friendly while still providing high-quality seeds. One of the standout features of these lotus seeds is their resilience. I appreciate that this large set is particularly beneficial for beginners like me who might experience some trial and error along the way. The variety allows for experimentation, which is perfect for honing my gardening skills without the fear of running out of seeds after a few unsuccessful tries. The included detailed planting guide is a fantastic resource, especially for someone new to lotus gardening. It lays out all the necessary steps in a clear, easy-to-follow format, making it approachable for anyone, regardless of experience level.Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase of the 200pcs Lotus Seeds. Don’t waste your money
Seeds arrived as described and separated into the 10 different colors. However, the “pre-scarification” could only be visualized on a few of the seeds (6/200 noted to have a defect in the shell). I followed all the growing recommendations in regards to water depth, water temperature, water changes, and exposure to at least 6 hrs. of sun / day. Today is day 13 and only 4 seeds have developed any evidence of germination. Those 4 were 4/6 that had pre-scarification apparent. Very disappointed and a total waste of money

    Not happy with these seeds
Have soaked the seeds first about 10 days and still no sprouting. It says they’re ready to germinate but not seeing anything!

    Not Rooting
Although I have followed the instructions meticulously, these seeds have yet to start sending out roots. The instructions say that they should start rooting in 5-7 days, but it’s been10 days.

Fast Germination but Careful Preparation Required
We ordered these lotus seeds by EquSym with the hope for lilies or lotus in our backyard pond here in Florida. Knowing that lotus flowers and lilies are tropical, we were optimistic that we could get them to grow here. The ten seed types come neatly packaged in the box in their own individual packets along with a picture of the lily or lotus on the front for helpful identification. In addition to the seeds, there is a detailed instructional card included that gives you all of the information you need to get started. It’s important to read the instructions carefully and do additional online research if needed. Germination does require some careful attention and dedication as the seeds require regular water changes to make sure they stay viable. We decided to try one of each seed at first to see if we could get them to germinate. Following the instructions to scarify the seed to soften it first, we then she put each of the individual 10 seeds in its own plastic pot with enough water to keep it warmed by the sun (but not too hot). Eight days in, we were happy to see that more than half of the seeds have sprouted. Time will tell how the remaining seeds do but we’re hoping to get some insights into their success rate from these initial tests. Once again, following the instructions, when the tubers are ready to be planted in soil we’ll transfer them to shallow (but wide) pots before putting them in the pond, to make sure they aren’t exposed to any turbulent water. I’ll update our review but for now, these seeds are looking good! At around $22 for these 10 varieties with 20 seeds of each, we give these 5 stars.
