Purchased these lights to string along the Roos of my patio and provide lighting to my yard at night for summer activities. They provide great light for BBQs and yard games and have lasted a very long while with no issues. They have held up great in the hot, humid, and rainy Louisiana weather.

Hands down the best purchase of my entire life. I bought these lights in 2023 for our all-girls college house because we needed some outdoor lighting for safety⦠and also for the yard hangouts. These bad boys are currently powered by a 10-year-old power strip thatâs thrown onto a tree, hanging over a bush, and then MacGyvered to our side porch ceiling using a combination of pure willpower and possibly some found nailsWe have never turned them off. Not once. Rain, snow, baby pool days, midterms, full-blown ragersâtheyâve survived it all. Theyâve seen things. Not a single bulb has given up.If you need lights that will outlive your college career and possibly your will to graduateâget these. 12/10. Would trust them to light my future wedding.

The Addlon brand’s “50FT LED Outdoor String Lights with Edison Shatterproof Bulbs” are a set of 15 bulbs on a 50-foot black cable.They are easy to install, weatherproof, and come with a vendor’s warranty.They are available in a variety of wire lengths and bulb densities, but be aware of the line lead length and that you have easy access to an outdoor outlet. You may need an outdoor extension cord.The bulbs are very bright on first install. A natural warm-white at 2680 degrees Kelvin. Lumen output is higher than expected at nearly 225 lumens per bulb at full brightness while consuming about one watt of power. That’s very efficient.I paired my set with a WiFi dimmer with sunset to sunrise astronomical timing. The bulbs dim to a very low setting, and I have the dimmer set to turn them on at sunset at 1 percent and increase the brightness to 75 percent over 20 minutes. This is a very natural transition and imperceptible through the twilight time, and with an astronomical dimmer, the turn-on and turn-off times automatically adjust as the sunset does throughout the year.A well-written instruction manual is enclosed. Be sure to read it and ensure that your installation is correct for outdoor / wet environments.Very pleased with the lights — the only concern is that the mounting hole on the top of each fixture is very small, so you will need a small attachment screw or hook to match.The outer bulb cover is plastic and can be easily cleaned as needed.One extra bulb, cover, and fuse included in the offer.Also, the wire and fixture is only available in black — may be nice to have white and green wires.Pros:Easy to install  Bright lightWater resistantDurable shatterproof bulbs  Warm white colorGood value for moneyDimmer compatible (with separate dimmer switch)  Three-year vendor’s warranty.Cons:Can be tangled upon arrival (but easy to untangle)May be too bright for some users (consider a WiFi dimmer with an astronomical sunset / sunrise setting to match local sunset and sunrise times).General:I recommend buying hanging hooks with spring clasps to secure the lights in windy conditions.

Very nice soft light and doesn’t require a lot of juice to pull. Just plug in my EV generator and im all set. Be sure to screw every bulb tightly as it all came loose.

Bulbs not working hardly used
Iâve had them set up outside for 7 months. Turned on only 2-3 times. Now 5 bulbs are out. Weâre $20 on sale. Best price for 12 replacement bulbs is $15. You tell me if theyâre worth it. I thought led bulbs were supposed to last for thousands of hours. Would not recommend.In updating this review I have been notified the company that supplied the lights will send me replacement bulbs. They are standing by there product. Which is a positive.I have changed the star review from a 2 to a 4 because I received the replacement bulbs. So the company has made good on there promise. I enjoy the string of lights hanging from my deck poles.
