This is a beautiful frame
I recently bought this as a wedding gift. It is beautiful. The part of the frame that covers the photo is high quality clear plastic. It is held in from the front of the frame by two tangs. I also have a Waterford frame that is more traditional with glass in the front. To access the photo I turn to metal keepers out of slots in the back of the frame to take a velvet piece off. I find that the traditional style is more difficult to work with. It is hard to make a precise shaped slot in the crystal and the two keepers fit very loosely letting the back sag a little bit. The style of this frame keeps the photo sitting tight in the frame where it can’t slip.

No photo cover!
This is a heavy beautiful piece of crystal but there is not the traditional way of inserting a photo behind glass. You’re just supposed to lay the photo in here. The supposed plastic cover (that maybe I’m supposed to put over the photo) arrived scratched. I’m so confused and disappointed. Sadly I’ll be returning.

This looks great in person and has very nice weight. It is very nice and opulent without really drawing too much attention which I like. I have questions about the durability of the plastic cover for the photo if I were to constantly change photos, but I’m sure it would be fine to change photos dozens of times, so this should not be a problem at all.I’d totally consider buying this again for another nice photo. I agree with others that this would also make a great looking notification sign for an event.
