I used this planter for my entire growing season up north (6 months). And loved it! Put it at the corner of my apartment building, planted it 1/2-flowers & 1/2-herbs. It was a beautiful display so I received many compliments from my apartment neighbors!CAPACITY: I planted 4 types herbs or flowers in each tray.WATERING: You can water your plants either from the top-down, or by pouring water in the side-slot at the bottom of each tray. If too much rain, it’ll drain out the side. It’s a perfect set-up for keeping the correct amount of moisture in the soil.STABILITY: It withstood 6 months when placed at a high-wind corner of a large structure.MOVING IT: When all 4 trays are full of soil, it’s too heavy to move. However, you can simply lift the trays out, carry the stand to where-ever, and then set the trays back in again. Thus, extreme mobility without fear of tipping.I love this planter 100% !!! This was a great GREAT purchase.

As I unpacked it, I noticed the plastic drip trays were deformed from being jammed into the box at the factory. I figured I could turn them to the back, and they would be okay once they got some sun on them. Then I got the metal frame assembled and realized the welds on the frame were so poor that two support brackets were already wiggling like loose teeth. Just looking for a way to fall off. But I guessed maybe I could zip-tie or JB Weld them in place. Finally, I found three of the planter boxes were cracked. That’s when it all went back in the box for return. Usually, I feel conflicted about returning things. Not this time. Only regret now is that I didn’t buy more so I could return them too.
