LIQUID PROPAN1.Make sure gas is shut off2.Connect the gas hose with gas connector to gas supply3.Connect the other end of the hose to the Straight Quarter-Turn Shut-Off Valve4.Attach the other side of the Straight Quarter-Turn Shut-Off Valve to the second gas hose5.Connect the other end of the second gas hose to the burner6. If using liquid propane, you need an LP Air Mixer to connect to the burner.(Air mixer is ONLY for LP)7. Has a serious flame!
To be honest, I was a little concerned that the flame wouldn’t be large enough to make it look as though it was a real fire… This little unit throws a ton of flame! In fact, I mostly run it on a much lower flame setting than I would have imagined. Not sure on gas consumption rate though, but man it looks pretty! Installation was as expected… Build quality appears solid…. No surprises. Used fire glass (lava rocks) in tray to cover element with manufactured log set and it looks great!

Product was easy to install. Was exactly what I was looking for to give my pond alittle something extra. Material seems to made of high quality product, only time will tell. Happy with purchase, I did break the knob as itâs plastic while installing, but still 5 stars.

Poor instructions
The product is good but the instructions are very poor, plus screws missing and the bracket for controls is very flimsy. When you push the gas valve or the ignition lighter switch it bends so you have to hold it with other hand.

Not bad, but not great
First the good. The fire ring, couplers, hoses and valves all seem like they are really good quality, came with good instructions and were easy to assemble. I feel very confident about that part of the purchase.Now the not so good. It really only has two settings. High (as shown in the photo) and very, very low. There do not see to be any variants in between. The igniter bundle is made of cheap plastic and the instructions leave a great deal to be desired. I’m getting a spark and it lights the ring but till not sure if I’ve done it correctly and that worries me with gas. I may opt to just use a lighter instead.I needed to replace the system on my 10 year old fire table and this one works, but overall, its a bit of a downgrade.

I bought this product and the finish on it is absolutely horrible. Tried this firepan instead of American Fireglass pan. What a mistake. Looks like they have never worked with stainless steel before. Save your money.
