Beautiful – Mammoth Sunflower (Helianthus var. ‘Mammoth’) seeds. These seeds grow crazy tall huge beautiful sunflowers with heights of 8-12 ft. The seeds are open pollinated and can be saved to plant year after year. Harvest and roast your own sunflower seeds. Minimum of 8g per packet (approximately 70 to 80 seeds).
Productive – Mammoth Sunflower germinates in 7-14 days when soil temps are 70-75°F. Plant 1” deep and space 3’ apart in an area with full sunlight. This variety will grow 8-12’ tall with a spread of 2-3’. Flowers will mature in 80-90 days, plant in USDA zones 3-9.
Pollinator and Bird Friendly – Bees love the nectar in sunflowers and will travel around helping pollinate your garden. Towards the end of the season, birds also love to come and eat the dried seeds.

Too soon for questions
They asked me how the item was and they know that I just received it in the mail and they know they are seeds so all I can say about this item is it was a nice package and when I opened them up, they look like sunflower seeds so far Iâm just planted them so they take a while to germinate to pop out of the ground so apparently these people have no idea about seeds

Excellent germination
This is my 2nd time with Sow Right Seeds, and have had good luck. I live in Maine, which has a short growing season, but these grew nicely. I recommend planting a few at a time for an ongoing show. Over 85% germination rate. I grow them in pots. Some I started indoors which survived transplanting outdoors. They also withstood pretty strong weather. Fair price. The birds and the bees love’em. Have fun!

I planted 5 and they all germinated in 3 days. they are for my daughter and son-in-law for the loss of her 11 yr old daughter and his 20 yr old son. I was so excited to see the sprouts so quickly! they are in a pot indoors for now.

Planted mine in a large pot and they grew well over 6ft.
So much fun! They sprouted almost overnight. Then they grew like Jack in The Beanstalk. Dried the seeds in the fall and fed the birds! Ordered these seeds again this year!

Definitely didn’t get mammoth….
I have been a gardener for 7 years my wife and I love gardening everything from vegetables to flowers to different types of plants. This isn’t my first season growing sunflowers I typically like to grow them to harvest the seeds so I always look for Mammoth I was hoping that’s what I got but it definitely wasn’t and far from it. The sunflowers were very pretty and grew to about the size of a small coffee saucer in my opinion a mammoth sunflowers stock should be really big and large and the sunflower itself should be the size of a large frisbee but that wasn’t the case. Definitely will not be buying these again I waited months for my mammoth and I didn’t get it got something sub par.
