Strong Enough for a Fully Loaded Yeti 65
Purchased this specifically for a Yeti 65 to float the Guadeloupe River. I was worried about rocks popping a hole in it or the cooler not fitting just right, or being top heavy. Let me tell you… This raft is perfect for a Yeti 65! I blew it up all the way and the Yeti slid in like it was made for it. I saw the Q&A where someone said you have to under inflate it, put the cooler in and air the rest of the way. NOPE! Don’t have to do that. There was about 2 extra inches of clearance on the long side of the cooler(front or back) where we put our flip flops and sun screen. It sits so low in the raft that tying down is not necessary. It handled the rapids just fine, also bounced off of a few large rocks with no problems. The first float about 2 hours in, it seemed like it was loosing air so I got a little worried, we were ready to pull off to the side and stretch our legs and eat lunch anyway, so we pulled the cooler out and with one deep breath I aired it back up and it was good the rest of the day. I chalked it up to being brand new and the rubber stretching a bit. Floated again the next day for 4 hours and did not have to add any air once initially inflated. We ran into a couple that also had one and they said they loved theirs and have had theirs for 4 years and floated the river a bunch with no issues. This is just the review I was looking for when planning my river trip so hopefully it helps someone else. Buy it!

The best burchase to go floating. We put a 55 lifetime cooler in it and our flip flops/speaker/dry bag. Used rope and carabiners to hook together. Its very thick material and worked amazing. Honestly want to get tubes from this brand. 10/10 recommend. Happy Floating!!

Leaked straight outta the box
My buddies and I do an annual river float.Intex is the local brand supplying tubes and cooler floats to our sports stores. While their tubes last year after year, Intex for some reason makes the cooler floats out of thinner material and they make 2-3 runs before they get holes/leaks.After buying the same crap intex cooler float 3 times I had had enough. It was time to find something rugged so I could stop donating more plastic to the landfill – and stop having a chore every other year or so.Enter this thing. Twice the price and indeed made out of thicker material than the Intex cooler floats (and seemed to be the thickness of the Intex river tube). I thought I had finally found ole reliable. I bought it last August when my third Intex had popped.Fast forward to this august we took it out for our annual river run. It was brand new out of the box/plastic bag. Filled it up with air and didn’t even get to the launch and I noticed it’s quite deflated. Step to the side of the trail and listen for the leak and it’s coming from the cupholder. Not even patchable.My buddy and I stood there looking at each other for our once a year trip like “do we just go home?”. We decided to roll the dice and ended up constantly blowing it back up by mouth on the trip.If you want a device that might ruin a trip get this one. I noticed the side material is tough and durable but the bottom cheaped out with thin material (btw the bottom is what hits the most rocks you genius cooler raft designers).I don’t know what the solution is for coolers on rovers that have a few light rapids but it ain’t this. I’m out 60 bucks and almost missed out on our vacay.

Built tough!
I was very nervous for this product, considering what we were going to ask it to do. But MAN did it far exceed my expectations! We took this cooler 65 miles down the Suwannee River with a 77 qt cooler. We pulled this float out at 5 different river camps and never once lost air pressure. It held up the entire trip, only had to add a tiny bit of air on the third night. I highly recommend this product, and will be taking it on many river treks to come.

Fit My Yeti 65 Near-Perfectly
I was kind of put off with the price at first but saw at least one review that had pics of their Yeti 65 in this cooler raft. Once I received the cooler raft I could tell that it was very well put together. From the thick rubber to the sturdy handles…seemed like you got what you paid for. The reason I said fit near-perfectly was because it had a little space between the raft and the front/back of the cooler. This wasn’t an actual complaint as I could fit a couple things between them for safe keeping. With as large as the cooler raft is, there was no worry of it ever tipping. I fastened it to the back of my kayak for a float trip and it worked great.
