    OBSESSED with GREEN!!!!!
In LOVE with these planters. Perfect color and shape. Putting together my dream garden and I got a bunch of these in various shapes and sizes. Wear the gloves if doing multiples. So far I bought a total of 19 planters and still have a few more to get to complete my dream.I found it was easier on the hands (especially if doing multiples) to add the screw and wing nuts on and then slowly tighten with a drill. This will secure the tighter fit. It terms is some people saying the pieces might be hard to align, there are in fact two sides. After remove the plastic, make sure the inside little seam matches all the way round. You’ll notice difference if look at both ends. And yes, I found some screws/wing nuts don’t align together but they allow plenty extra and what one screw doesn’t work with a certain wing nut can work well with another. It’s all fine.

    Better than expected!
I purchased two sets for a total of 4. I’m starting a new garden from scratch. I have a limited budget. While I would love to get the Behlen stock tanks, they have become cost prohibitive. These were the next best thing. Now that I have them assembled, I’m thinking that I might actually prefer these to the stock tanks! Assembly is a no-brained but a bit tedious. I threw a tarp on living room floor, turned on some trash TV and systematically screwed the pieces together. The holes match perfectly and there were plenty of nuts and bolts. I can easily move outdoors by myself and position them in test areas (for sun) in the garden. There are some snappy white gloves included which I dismissed at first. Then I noticed I was bleeding on the parts from the thin metal cuts (alike a paper cut) on my fingers. The gloves are a must. I have purchased a few more of these containers in different shapes. I am (unexpectedly) very happy with this purchase and highly recommend for the budget conscious gardener. (Note: I purchased four of these for what one stock tank would have cost.)

Easy enough for a child to construct.
I bought the 4’x1’ as I recieived them from the box in perfect condition. I was pleased to see a simple picture /map of how to assemble. Almost in Lego style. I got the wood grained one to change up from the standard silver animal farm type. although lovely, uniform and clean.… I opted for the apple box style as tribute to my youth spent Bitching about growing, irrigating, thinning, picking, eating, and baking golden delicious apples all of my youth. Maybe it will bring me good luck. I f I were to get this again. I am thinking of a couple 1.5’x 4’ the one footer seems a little short for this old lady.lol

Very happy with the finished product
I love how these look and although it took a good while to put them together, it was an easy process. They are sturdy with the bar across and look great. Now if my seeds would just sprout it will be awesome.

    Brown Galvanized Plant Box
Comes in sections, peel plastic off each one, half circles on ends, straight pieces in middle! Bolt together and put cross bar in and then put rubber piece across top! Simple and very sturdy! The brown color looks awesome!

    I love them!
This wasn’t to small or to big perfect fit. I love them no dents. Easy to put together. Great buy for getting 2 together for that price. I am so happy it’s been almost a week and it is doing great.

Be Advised – Terrible, Terrible, Terrible Hardware
When I saw these planter boxes were 2 for $60, I thought these would be adequate and inexpensive for having a couple of raised beds for some tomato plants in the back yard. I expected them to be a very light gauge sheet metal and obviously something that had to be assembled.Upon opening the box they came in, my expectations were correct. Each planter box is made up of 10 very light gauge (but adequate) sheet metal panels that obviously need to be assembled, using the included sets of screws and wing nuts, as well as a small phillips screwdriver (also included) to complete the task.So far so good, right? Here’s where things changed that made my purchase of these planter boxes a total regret, a waste of time and money, as well a product that really (you’ll see why) made me angry. Because of the following I would in no way recommend anyone to buy these inexpensive planter boxes. The following is what I DID NOT expect and what caused the anger and regret. The threads of the screws and the wing nuts do not match. There is no way to put them together finger tight and then tighten them the rest of the way with a screwdriver as you would expect to. It is only possible to get the wing nuts barely started on the screw. Once (barely) started, the use of the included (or any phillips screwdriver) is totally impossible and useless. For a disclaimer, I have worked with my hands for more than 50 years including automotive work, mechanical work and carpentry. I am in no way a stranger to using bolts and nuts, screws and wing nuts, SAE and metric, etc.. I also am very aware and know the difference between locking nuts as well as threads that simply don’t match. With that said, I had to use my Milwaukee impact driver with a phillips bit and a pair of Vise Grips (to hold the wing nuts) in order to tighten each screw and wing nut, of which there are 4 per panel. For most of them, by the time they were tight enough to hold the panels together, the heads of the screws would strip out.The included screws and wing nuts and ‘only’ the screws and wing nuts, is what has prompted me to leave such a long negative review. Again, the overall product was what I expected, inexpensive, cheap! I am one who believes you get what you pay for. These planter boxes were inexpensive so I expected a cheap product that could, at least be assembled with the hardware included. After spending well over an hour and getting totally angry from putting the first box together, which should have and would have only taken about 15-20 minutes (max), with proper screws and wing nuts, came my next point of frustration.Removing the remainder of panels for the second planter box (from the box they came in), I quickly noticed one panel was missing. I contacted Amazon immediately and as you would expect, Amazon quickly sent me another (complete) set (since they would not have a single panel to send) which I received the next day.Knowing the frustration that lies ahead of me now though to put my second planter box together using the included mismatched screws and wing nuts is not something I’m looking forward to.While on my way to a UPS store to return the replacement order I only needed one panel from, I guess I could go to one of my local big box stores and spend another $10-$15 to buy enough screws and nuts that do have matching threads to put the second planter box together, but needless to say, I don’t want to do that either. In conclusion, if the screws and wing nuts that came with these planter boxes were a match, and would have fit together like you would expect them to, I would have given these inexpensive planter boxes a 5-star review. I thought $60 for 2 boxes I could quickly assemble verses $200 for 2 of the same size boxes from Home Depot was well worth the savings for what I wanted the planter boxes for. I wish now I would have gone to Home Depot and spent the extra money.Another conclusion of mine is, if all you have to put these planter boxes together with is the included screwdriver (or even some very basic hand tools), don’t bother. Do not order them for you will not be able to assemble them. Quality control is one thing, but providing mismatched, unusable hardware to assemble their product is another and is simply not acceptable.I hope this review can help someone make a better choice for planter boxes that I did! I also hope this review will cause the manufacturer of this product to test the garbage hardware they provide before include it in the product(s) they ship.

    Garden planters to love!
Great craftsmanship! I really love the different color choices. I really appreciate the plastic coating too protect while shopping. Easy to read directions.

These look nice and are reasonably sturdy. The first one that I assembled was fairly quick and easyto bolt together. The second one had nuts plus matching wing nuts that were out of specificationand real force had to be used for the vast majority of the time. So the second one was a nuisance tobolt together: some of the bolt heads were damaged by the torsional strain of the screwdriver on thebolts. I may have just been unlucky to get a bad batch of bolts-plus-wingnuts.I like the appearance of the (dark brown) planters.
