How did you start?
Seed Needs originally started as a username for an online marketplace. We discovered Amazon in 2010 and soon after we established a brand, selling our products to millions of happy customers over the past decade.

Uses – Italian Large Leaf Basil is a staple in Italian dishes and is the perfect herb when making pesto sauces. Italian Basil produces larger leaves compared to most other basils.
Growth – This Basil variety is an annual herb that grows to a mature height of roughly 12 to 24 inches tall and can spread about 12 to 15 inches wide.
Indoors / Outdoors – Basil herb plants like seen above do not take up much space. They are easily grown inside for an indoor herb garden. They can also be planted directly in the garden as well.
Quality – All Basil seeds packaged by Seed Needs are intended for the current and the following growing seasons. All seeds are stored in a temperature controlled facility that is free of significant amounts of moisture.
Quantity – Seed Needs offers generous quantities. You can share with friends and family, or you can save the extra seeds until the following season, if properly stored.
Packets – Each seed packet displays an artful illustration of the variety to be grown, as well as detailed seed sowing information on the reverse side. They measure 3.25″ wide by 4.50″ tall.
Promise – Seed Needs will never knowingly supply GMO based seed products. The vast majority of our seeds are open pollinated & heirloom, with the exception of a few hybrids.

quick and substantial growth
Bought these for my aero garden pods. They sprouted within 2 to 3 days. They are now at three weeks and while only about 3 inches tall at best they are producing huge leaves. Some of the leaves are bigger than the plants are tall. Theyâre very substantial and lush and smell amazing.
