LARGE RECTANGULAR UMBRELLA PROVIDES MAXIMUM SHADE
This umbrella is a beautiful design providing many homeowners with varying degrees of satisfaction.In my case, I have a small patio in central Florida which has concrete wall facing the afternoon sun which creates a radiating wall of heat in addition to the pavers heating up. All of which makes the patio very hot.Conventional circular umbrellas do not have a big footprint equal to the rectangular design.So this design is much more efficient.The base is metallic and prone to get wet and eventually create rust stains on the pavers.The base is rudimentary in design and exposed to the elements and so I immediately decided to box the base in and cover the base for aesthetic reason.Two bags of “Play Sand” from Home Depot totaled one hundred pounds of weight. The umbrella kit comes with two bags made of fabric in which the buyer fills with sand.The covered pedestal that I constructed for the base has two 2″ x 4″ struts on the bottom which allows me to slip a dolly underneath to move the umbrella for whatever reason. I did not want to find myself in a situation in which I would have move two 50 lb. bags of sand to move the umbrella and then have to put the two 50 lb. bags back just to move the umbrella with base. On top of that, in my case, I have the covered base pedestal enclosed. So I would have to open the pedestal and close it back up to remove the bags of weight.Placing struts underneath the base and using a dolly to move the umbrella makes my design mobile.I saw some ceramic tiles at Home Depot and added two pieces to the top of the pedestal for aesthetic and protection from the rain. I will be sealing the seams with white Silicone adhesive.Yesterday was the first day that I had to close the umbrella because of the wind blowing too hard for the umbrella to be left standing as the umbrella was taking a beating for which it was not designed.So caution has to be observed by not leaving the umbrella open unattended 24/7.I love my umbrella and strongly recommend. Keep in mind that my pedestal is custom made and that the base can become unsightly and precaution must be taken with the wind factor.I imagine that someone who entertains guests with a long table will appreciate the long berth of this umbrella providing shade and shelter from light rain.FYI: The six foot umbrella mast diameter is smaller than the nine foot umbrella mast diameter. And the fifteen foot long umbrella pictured here has an umbrella mast diameter larger than both the six footer and the nine foot umbrella masts.

We got this 15ft double-sided umbrella for our patio, and honestly, itâs been amazing. The shade it gives is huge â easily covers our whole outdoor table and chairs, so everyone stays cool and comfy when weâre hanging out.The build feels super solid, and the fabric is really nice â thick, water-resistant, and doesnât fade. It looks great too, really adds to the vibe of the patio.It was super easy to set up and the crank to open and close it works really smoothly. We love that it comes with the base and sandbags â just make sure to fill the bags with enough sand and it stays nice and stable, even when itâs a little windy.The pole and frame are sturdy, no rust or wobble so far. Good company Read all. Company stood behind product!
I bought this umbrella. Nice looking but the crank to raise it did not work. The company said it was an Amazon problem. Amazon said package it all up-many many parts and return it for a refund. Impossible remedy! Donât buy this for the company has accepted no remedy for this defective lifting mechanism and the Amazon solution is not feasible.I have since been contacted by the company and they have sent me a complete replacement. So please go ahead and buy this umbrella because the company stood behind their profuct

This umbrella has held up VERY WELL! It is the lime green one in the pic! I was skeptical about the base; however, it did not disappoint! This is year 2 of having it Poolside and it serves itâs purpose EVERY TIME! Lots of shade! Sturdy! Colorful! Very well made and affordable! I’m sorry I didn’t purchase 2 of them at one time! Hoping to get the yellow one this year!!
