Terrible. Purchased in March, out up in April and the entire contraption is trash. The metal all bent. The top tore in several areas. No weather played a factor at all. Disappointed

Excited to have it but disappointed
We were pumped to find a product that would fit on our deck to help provide shade during the hot summer days. We have a south facing deck that gets full sun all day from 11am until around 7:30pm.First disappointment was that it came in two shipments on two different days. With only one shipping number and no indication to expect two boxes. So we thought we were shorted some parts. Everything ended up coming eventually so, yay!Second disappointment was that I read the measurements incorrectly and the shaded area wasn’t the size we thought it would be. That is completely my fault so we’re working with it. It is what it is.Third disappointment was how it “handled” mild wind. Which is to say, not at all. My husband luckily came home at lunch to find that the locks for the shade didn’t hold in the mild wind (for our area, 16mph is fairly common). So he bungeed the bars down so that it wouldn’t get ruined.Not exactly what we were hoping for. We will deal with it until we find a better solution, or until it really breaks.The instructions were very simplistic and not 100% clear. We’re smart people so we did figure it out. But there were some vague and/or confusing parts.Note: it’s been up for 4 days.I love the shade it provides. I love that I can adjust where the shade is so we can enjoy being on the deck in the evenings without getting fried. I am looking forward to summer break and sitting out while the kids are in the pool and not dying in the heat.I am worried about the June storms and how it will weather. I guess we shall see.

Almost perfect
For the price, this is great! My husband and I put it together ourselves. Took a few hours. We used a drill with a hex bit instead of the Allen wrench that came with it, which saved my sanity. It fits perfectly on my deck. I have only two complaints – one is very mild: the plastic decorative pieces that fit in the ends of the pergola bars on top are really loose. I’ll probably need to secure them somehow.The bigger complaint is the latches that hold the fabric top on. It’s adjustable – you undo the latches, and you can adjust how much fabric is on each side of the pergola. These latches are just made of plastic, and they don’t hold. An average breeze is enough to slide the sides of the pergola up as the top catches the wind. Not a huge deal, I just used some cord to tie the cross bar down, but I don’t like that I have to. Hoping that’s enough to keep it solid. I saw another review here that mentioned using bungees to keep it down – I may switch to using those.It came in two boxes that arrived on two separate days – so keep that in mind if you only get one box.

Not happy with it at all
It shipped without the top took 3 weeks to get that it came with a lot of parts not needed a part list for a different model and not rounded enough for water to run off. Taking it down and order a new canopy for our older easy up. First thing I have ordered through Amazon that I have not been happy with from shipping to the final product
