Stylish solution
We removed invasive bamboo, but it left a side of our pool exposed and houses are close together. We didnât want to buy a bunch of new plants to try to keep alive. We wanted a solution that could open and close easily (to let light in as we wanted), but also stay in place with wind. These have grommets on one end and tabs on the other. It comes with cords, but we used separate tension rods on both ends of each section of the cage, with u-shaped anchors that hold the rods in place better. This allows us to take them down during hurricanes (FL). But, we keep them up during normal wind and rain and they have held up very nicely. We didnât want something cheap looking and friends say it gives the patio a cabana vibe! I just got a few matching tie backs for the bottom when they are open so the wind doesnât slowly move them shut. Definitely happy with these, and this was much less expensive than electronic shades or replacing screens with those that obstruct the view (also better looking in my opinion).

Checks all the boxes!
I so wish we had purchased these sooner! We use them on one side of our screened porch for 1) privacy; 2) wind and rain blockage. I recently gave our porch a glow-up and didn’t want things blowing over or getting wet. Well, these do the trick! We used to have things blowing over all.the.time. but not anymore! And we get some pretty strong storm come thru in central NC. They also look really nice and keep things dry as well! And make great privacy screens! 10 of 10

These are really nice. Well-made, sun-blocking with pockets at the bottom to run an anchoring cord, supplied! For our screened in porch to keep out the afternoon sun. Very happy with these!

Not what I expected
We just received these and have only had them up for a week so I can’t really comment on the quality. I was a bit surprised that they are no different than what you would hang in your house. I thought they were a waterproof material.The price wasn’t bad so if I need to replace next year with something more heavy duty, I’m OK with that.

High quality thick material.
Very happy with these curtains. I purchased them to hang outside on my patio and block the afternoon sun coming into my large windows. They are true to size, high quality very thick. Time will tell how they hold up to the Arizona sun. I like the rope at the bottom to keep them from blowing around.

Buy greyish white
I’ve lived in the Phoenix area for 40 years, and I’m an expert on sun fading. Knowing the sun fades fabric in a yellowish manner, I bought greyish white. If it fades “warm” it will still be regular white. They’ve hung on the western side of my patio for a year and a half, and the color hasn’t changed (to the naked eye, anyway). The only issue is, they blew against the wall a lot and did pill/fray along that area.

Not for Wind
The material seems to be of good quality, and they do a great job protecting my furniture from the rainâwhen there’s no wind. However, on windy days, they act like a sail, making it difficult to keep them in place. The strong California wind keeps pulling them off the cord and curtain rod. Iâm still trying to figure out a solution, but if you live in a windy area, keep this in mind.
