Buy this & forget the mess of a real fern
I bought this faux fern for my screen porch this Summer because I was so tired of constantly having to clean up the leaves that fall off of a real fern. Plus the cost of a real fern this size is getting outrageous which ends up in the trash in the Fall. I put this faux fern in a vintage lead glass hanging lamp fixture turned upside down and it looks great without the mess. Unless you get really close to it you canât tell itâs fake. I like the fact it has the smaller lighter green leaves at the center to look like new growth and the brown root branches. This makes it look more real. Iâm very satisfied and would highly recommend it.

I love this fern and the way it looks.it was easy to assemble by putting them in the pot and fluffing them out, the have little grooves that make them easy to bend

Very realistic and much easier than watering plants in Oklahoma!
This was my first time hanging artificial plants outside, but I canât keep up with watering ferns in the Oklahoma heat. My husband didnât even know they were fake!! Iâve had them up for about a month through strong Oklahoma wind and rain, and they still look great. The color has yet to fade, but I expect it will by August. I will update if not because that would be supernatural. I did use two instead of one in a coconut hanger because I wanted them to look more full.

LOOKS REAL BUT REQUIRES “FLUFFING”
It takes some “fluffing” to make it look real. I put my two together in a coconut hanging pot liner and spent about ten minutes arranging the frawns to look real. The result is satisfying.

These ferns look really good, but the 48 in drop is from one tip, all the way across the fern to the end of another tip! The verbiage is a little misleading.

Nearly Natural is definitely the right name for these Boston Ferns. They are absolutely lovely to look at and very easy to arrange as each frond has a bendable wire in it.Also the colors of the fronds vary from dark green to what would be new growth which is a light green with curly tips as well as several light brown aerial roots or leafless stems, seriously just like the real thing,The only problem I had was trying to anchoring the base in the center of my pot using green floral foam, it didn’t work because it was too soft and crumbly and the whole fern kept falling off center when I started moving the individual fronds around.So I had to start all over again and found a plastic lid that firmly fit into the bottom of my pot, then cut a hole in the center and pushed the fern base into the lid and put it back into the pot then glued everything in place.I left the whole arrangement overnight, for the glue to dry and the next day it was so easy to arrange I felt like a professional florist …. well almost… I have to acknowledge that the fern made it easy.
