Since this is a sheer curtain it allows filtered light to pass through. I have faux wood blinds on my bathroom window but I also hung this sheer curtain over the faux blinds. It adds nice color to the bathroom and allows filtered light through if I open the blinds.

Lovely curtains – classic countryside
Extremely happy with these! They are not light blocking and give that airy, casual look while still adding the right amount of interest and practicality. The floral pattern is delicate but classic and I really felt like this captured my European countryside style. I have them in our study as well and I absolutely love them with our creamy colored walls.

The hooks that come with the curtain are not that appealing, so I switched them out with nicer seashell ones. BUT the shower curtain itself is perfect and exactly as pictured. It’s working out well for my mermaid themed bathroom.

These curtains are absolutely fantastic! I almost didnât order them because one review said they didnât give privacy and you could see through them. The ad said they were semi sheer but privacy curtains. Iâm so glad I went with my gut.We bought them last October for our cabin and I fell in love with them the minute I got them. They are lightweight and so pretty and feel soft to the touch.I hung them up in my kitchen and during the day hours, I could see our beautiful view outside but at the same time standing outside, I couldnât see inside the cabin. Privacy is especially important to me as my husband is away for work for a few weeks at a time so I didnât want to feel vulnerable out there.The big test came when it got to dark outside. My husband and I took turns with standing outside in front of the windows looking in, and another standing inside close to the windows with the lights on. We could see the person standing outside but the person standing outside couldnât see the person inside. We couldnât make out anything other than perhaps a slight shadow inside the cabin.If I needed more curtains I would 100% but these again and refer my friends to them.Thank you Amazon!

These curtains in our newly renovated bathroom are absolutely gorgeous! I love the look and feel of them. They are a tiny bit see-through but you can’t really see anything specific. It does help that we bought them quite wide for the window, too, so they are very bunched up. We had some other curtains in there before that were quite ugly, and this is a wonderful improvement! I love the way the light shines through in the daytime, creating a nice affect in the room.
