Heavy duty solar post light
This die cast aluminum and glass solar post cap light is the best. At first I thought the price was inflated, but after opening the package I think the price is a great value for a top quality light fixture. Because it is solar I was able to install this light today as soon as it arrived. It charged for a few hours in the sunlight. It is still shining brightly now 4 hours after sundown. I have maybe 100 solar light fixtures scattered across three properties and this is the very best made of all of them.

Update 1/4/25: I removed 1 star from my review because there are no instructions. Originally I put it together wrong and thought that it was OK when it was not. I put it back together and now it is perfect and working beautifully. I would like to see items like this always have guidelines even if it is just to direct the buyer to a website but I did not find any. I’m tempted to give it 5 stars because it is quite beautiful and that solar panel picked up a pretty good charge even with very little to no sun throughout the day. I think a solid 4.5 stars for me at this point. Thank you.This Outdoor Solar Post Cap Light is slated for an exciting spring project, an area that has been abandoned and not attractive for literally years. We hope this is going to classy up the joint and create some special ambience and serve as a guiding light for the driveway.Out of the box, the light is larger than I realized, yet it is not heavy duty but rather fairly light. At this price point ($65.99 as of this writing) I did expect it to be a little more robust. But that could also be a good thing depending on one’s perspective.The project is an old concrete building across and up from the house. It is low to the ground and you see it as you drive in the driveway. There used to be flowers between the driveway and the building but after a couple of droughty years, they died out making it look like like a sad empty lot. In the spring this outdoor solar post cap light will be the driveway light where it is hard to see the dark. And it will be the centerpiece amongst a bunch of flowers that we are in the process of ordering the bulbs for right now. I think this beautiful solar light installed on a low box post is really going to stand out nicely.

No Instructions! It Can Be Assembled, But Difficult Without Instructions!
To be clear, this item CAN be Assembled. With No Instructions though, be prepaid to figure out how!Sadly what would have been a great post light is ruined due to not having instructions. It was difficult to figure out how to assemble it without instructions but it was doable and is easy once you figure it out. Most people will simply think this item is broken or has missing parts again due to not having any instructions.Despite no instructions I assembled it but it took me a few to figure out how. You must screw in 4 sides of the post light which was obvious. However you are left pondering how the post light top is attached to the bottom. This is obviously where most people will get stuck. All you need to do is actually disassemble the top which is done via 2 screws. This exposes the 4 screw holes that you need. It also exposes a pin connection which connects the battery as well. Then you simply put the top on and screw in the 2 screws you removed. It took me almost an hour to figure this out then I was like, I can’t believe how easy that was!Once assembled this is a great post light. The design is great compared to any I could find on Amazon. I plugged the battery together with the top it illuminated with its own lights. The fact that it came with its own lights was a welcome surprise. Whatever bulb I put in can be changed with the remote. The remote lets you go from warm to neutral to daylight regardless if the bulb was warm or full daylight(white). The lights it comes with does makes it happen.I would Not Recommend this item for 1 major reason, it comes with No Instructions.

Attractive Light Cap.
This is a large and good quality solar light.Especially worthwhile if you live in a climate with plenty of sunlight.Here in the midwest, late November is hit or miss as far as sunshine goes, and that will remain the case all winter long, so there are nights where it just isn’t going to put out light for very long. It makes for a source of supplemental lighting in areas where you don’t have easy access to an electric outlet.Be aware that you will need to set it on a base of 12 x 12 to elevate it adequately. so read the measurements when deciding if this fixture will work for your needs. It looks great.

Useless
Must have come with parts missing because there was no way this could be put together. Battery was loose and holder not glued down. Instructions are useless and don’t make sense. My husband puts all kinds of stuff together and couldn’t figure this out. A nightmare.
