This is a piece of junk. The smaller tubes do not even fit through the larger part. If you try to shove them through it scratches the tubes. Nothing fits together. SUPER FRUSTRATING.

Scratches easily when assembling
The middle pole has a lot of sharp edges where the holes are cut for the horizontal poles. When sliding them in, it is impossible to not scratch them up, removing the brown paint. I expected a better quality for the price.

Will Fade if left out in the sun
Less than one year old and the plastic brown rods have completely weathered and look white. I leave the product outside on our roof deck here in SoCal. They should be made of the same material as the base and rod. They’re weathering just fine. I have to buy a replacement for it after only 5 months.

This is our first summer having an above ground pool in our back yard, so we’re learning as we go what kind of accessories we need to make pool life just a little easier. This easy to assemble towel rack sure does come in handy. It’s very simple and basic, which is a good thing, and holds the kids’ floaties and a couple of towels no problem. The arms are easy to adjust. They just slide in and out of the center “mast” so you can have two of equal length, one that extends all the way in one direction, or anywhere in between. It’s made of plastic, so we don’t have to worry about the elements getting to it. The base can be filled with either sand or water. We chose water, and it’s quite sturdy. The only thing that I’m not a huge fan of is the “mast” doesn’t lock into the base. There is a ring where the mast and base meet that can be tightened, but it doesn’t really secure anything. it would be nice to be able to grab this thing and move it with easy. Instead, the base stays put when I pull up on the mast. Oh well. Good product at a good price.

Sturdy and durable!
This comes disassembled with an empty base. Makes sense – no point in shipping weight you can add at home. It only took a few minutes to screw the central pole together and insert the horizontal racks — even with no instructions (cough cough).Once together, I’m impressed. It feels rock solid, even before I added the weight. The middle pole is strong enough that I could stand on it, and the horizontal poles are thinner but not at all flimsy.I put sand in the base instead of water, since we live where it freezes in the winter. It was a little tricky to fill it, but only took a half hour or so. Now it’s out by the hot tub where it will serve us well all winter long.Whether your pool is indoor or outdoor, this is a great addition.

Just what I needed
This towel holder came right on time. We are going thru a heat wave and I was tired of hanging our towels out on the railings. I mean yes it did the job but it did look tacky in my opinion. This rack has honestly made my life easier. The towels can now hang close to the pool so I dont have a million kids asking for their towel and it allows me to hang not only the towels to dry but wet swimsuits as well. The posts are adjustable which is a nice feature. The base can be filled with either sand or water, I choose to use water as its easier to empty when its time to store this away for the winter months.
