Almost perfect lights
For the most part I am very pleased with this purchase. The lights were easy to install; the different levels of brightness works great. I did have one issue which was with the 3 and 5-hour timers. Neither one initially functioned at first; the lights did not go off in either setting. I contacted the seller (I did not find any link on Amazon in order to reach the seller; I found an email address in the instruction sheet included with the lights; very tiny print). The seller responded quickly and offered a replacement or refund. I continued to try the timers each night, and after a few tries, they both did start working. The 3 hour timer seems more reliable; the 5 hour timer does not seem to work consistently. However, I am okay with that. I chose not to have a replacement or refund but the seller was very kind in offering either choice. These lights do meet my needs and fit perfectly around my small patio. The 25% light brightness really works perfectly for me at night, and the other settings offer excellent options if you like brighter lighting. Despite the small timer issue I would order more if/when I wanted another set. The seller is very cooperative if you do have an issue.

Survived a Wind and rainstorm
Once the poles went up, these were super easy to install. My string of 100 (2, 50s) survived a pretty fierce wind and rainstorm. Really like the dimmable feature on the remote, which works well. Two weeks since install and they are working as I hoped.

Items to Consider: Pluses and Minuses
Attractive warm white lights that have certainly come down in price since I initially ordered them (+). Very much plastic feeling (-) and lightweight, the shatterproof feature is good and makes installation relatively easy, especially with the two varying hooks on each bulb (+). However, the wire strand is a bit stubborn and wantâs to turn its own way (-), so I recommend stretching the strand out and leaving it in the sun to relax the cord before hanging for your desired layout. With a 3â distance between bulbs (-), you might want a closer, more dense concentration of lighting or looks, so take your total coverage and design into consideration when ordering from the multiple length options available (+). I initially ordered one 50â strand and thought afterwards that a second set would be better to fill the swagging back and forth look I wanted across a patio; so I purchased a second 50â length. Once strung together, both remotes worked on the combined strand so there is a universal frequency between them (+) but I canât separate the strands, power them from their own chargers and set the lighting modes differently (-) ie: have one strand gently flashing for a dance floor a few feet away while keeping the other steady for tableside chats (-). The remote also powered my solar light strand (different product/different vendor) so beware: neighborâs with similar set-ups could impact your control/settings (-). The remote itself with its multiple features is handy (+) although I just use it to turn on and off, once the brightness is set. Memory retention exists returning to the last setting when power is restored (+). Surprisingly, the remote works over long distances (I can operate my lights from over 50â away) and thru walls (I can turn them on using the remote from inside my home (+). My biggest minus was purchasing a second strand after the first, to extend my coverage. The âend-to-endâ connectability is really end-to-beginning. I have to redesign the connection point between the two to hide the lead 8â wire before I reach the first bulb in the second strand (—). I have holiday lights that have neutral connections (no female to male needs) that allow me to connect the shorter leads together thereby eliminating trying to find a place/way to stash the excess cord. In all, the waterproof LED outdoor string lights are a good value for their welcoming presence. I simply point out some items to consider.

Horrible customer serve and randomly turning on
I bought these lights because they had a remote and several ways to attach to my deck. However, the lights started randomly coming on. There was nothing on the instructions on how to work the remote or what the function of the buttons were. I looked on the remote to see if there was a reset button, but there wasn’t. I also attempted to email the manufacturer (there’s no phone number) to see if there was a ‘secret’ button somewhere, but no reply. I even attempted to find a Youtube video on how to work the remote. I’d send them back but it would be a hassle to take down and it’s past the return date.
