Medium Firm is great for Lwr. Back pain!
Edit: We have slept several nights on our new mattress. Very satisfied. Medium firm still allows sleeping on your side comfortably, this was important to us! Bed has no odor either…none at all!My wife and I just opened ours. It sits on old box springs until our adjustable bed frame arrives. First thoughts (have not slept on it yet):Wow! We ordered medium firm. I suffer from a jacked up lower back. Surgeries often. I can tell this is a high quality mattress and I’m happy about the touch and feel of it! Sitting on the edge feels normal and not like sinking to the floor;) This is a very well made mattress!I’m watching TV while on it as I write this review. My lower spine feels supported, no gaps or unpleasant feelings. It feels great! I rolled on my side since sometimes that happens during the night. It feels totally acceptable. Enough conformance to my hip and shoulder that I could nod off and zzzzzz.I’ll update my review in a few days after we sleep on it. I seriously doubt it will change from positive to negative though. I know my body and comfort levels quickly. I can just sit on a bed, table chair or restaurant booth and know instantly if my body will be happy:)My wife and I are going to be very happy for a long time. Really good hybrid mattress
Super comfy, it’s not plush, but more on the medium side. Will try to remember to update the review the longer we have it. We had a purple mattress and hated it from the beginning; that mattress didn’t even last that long either. This is so much better than our purple mattress. There was no smell, no “getting used to it.” We let it sit for 3.5 days, and it got all the way to 14″

This mattress is so good!! It never had a smell like Iâve seen reported on other similar types. Itâs firm but soft. Love that there are springs in the bottom. Slept the best I have in a year. Mostly side and back sleeper. Not sure the longevity of it but the price point is so great.

Update 4/29 – seller reached out to try and correct situation with a partial refund which I accepted. The smell was home after about few days. I ended up buying a very thick mattress topper and my son will be keeping the mattress. Changing review to 4 based on customer service.Original review: So this is my first time buying a mattress online. I was really hesitant as itâs for my son and he likes a softer bed.Based on the reviews, thatâs what I thought we were getting. Unfortunately the bed is extremely firm. Iâm hoping it will soften up quickly and I plan to add a mattress topper, but itâs far firmer than I anticipated.As with most things shrink-wrapped, we thought it would slowly expand over time, but this mattress came out with such a force it actually knocked my husband over.Plan at least one to two days for offgassing. This had an awful smell when we opened it.I will come back and change this review if I think the mattress gets better and if not, we may end up returning.

Bed in a box review
I love the mattress! I was a little worried that since it was only 239.00 that it would just feel and look cheap. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. To be honest, it is a little bit firm, but I sleep good and wake up feeling rested. I have paid more than 2,000.00 dollars for mattresses in the past and they no more comfortable than this one. One of the best things Iâve ever bought.

I waited to write a review until I was able to sleep on it for about six weeks. When it arrived, it was all compression sealed in a good size box, but not too big. I have to say for the money this is one of the best mattresses. Iâve probably slept on. Period I highly recommend this mattress.

Finally awesome firm mattress great support on the sides. I was surprised how good this mattress is for the price. It’s a thousand times better than the ones I paid $1,000 dollars for at the Box store. Helpful tip when you open it make sure it’s in the position you want on your bed. Definitely recommend it.

False advertising as a “plush” mattress
The mattress seems to be good quality, and everything arrived in an orderly fashion. However, it is advertised as being “plush”, and it is anything but! If this were another product that didn’t serve such a vital and personal need, I wouldn’t leave 1-star. However, we are talking about something that directly affects quality of sleep, and is an extreme hassle to return. (After all, who is really going to re-vacuum seal a 100+ lb mattress and stuff it into a box, and take it to an Amazon store for drop-off?)
