Flimsy and disappointing
How does this have 4.5 stars right now? Once I got all the parts unpacked, my first thought was “Well, I guess I’ll always read reviews from now on”. This thing would have been great for an aprtment when I was in my 20s, but this “couch” has the same structural integrity of a futon. The back of each seat is JUST a cushion that rests on an angles wooden structure that inserts in the base of each section. They have velcro strips but don’t even stick to anything. Those sections are held together by a U-shaped piece of metal that doesn’t screw in or really keep itself secure except for by gravity and a little tension. I got all my tools out in anticipation of this, and I didn’t need any of them. I guess it gets a star for easy assembly.
