Took it on a river float and it survived a severe thunderstorm!
While a floating inflatable raft review should be very straightforward I mostly want to praise how well this kept things dry through not only hell breaking loose, but panicked raft paddling for a mile on a turbulent river.

It’s a gift
My S.I.L has a habit of tipping his beer cooler over when tubing. Most of the cans sink in the rapids. Then we all have to go and help retrieve his precious cargo. Haha. I think he’ll love this blow up raft. I attached a blue tooth speaker and a 6 pack to get his started.

Great for lake and river trips!
We just went to the lake for the first time this summer and this thing was awesome to have! I holds SO many cans, I think it was 2 cases, or close to it, and also ice to go around the cans. The material is extremely heavy duty and thick vinyl. The handles are attached well and 4 of them are needed because this is so heavy when it’s full it take 2 people to carry it. Actually here’s a tip, fill it up while it’s already in the water so you don’t need to have 2 people carry it! It comes with an air pump that actually works ok, but there was a small challenge of closing the tab and keeping it closed before air escapes. I think the tab will loosen up and stretch a little as we use it more and that’ll make closing it- and keeping it closed- easier. I did repeat the part about keeping it closed because the tab popped open several times after we thought it was sealed, so keep an eye one that when it’s new. The most surprising thing was the size. I read the description and size before ordering, but it didn’t sink in how large this really is until I actually saw it inflated for the first time. I actually asked my husband where we got the little raft/lifeboat and who was going to use it! He laughed and told me that it was the cooler and I was surprised, happily surprised! We had both our daughters and their friends so we had a lot of water, soda and adult beverages with us and this held it all. One thing thought, even though it floats in the water so the drinks stay cooler, this is a cooler, not an insulated ice chest, so make sure you leave room for the ice when you’re filling it. Everything about this is awesome and well thought out design-wise, and if you plan on camping, fishing, boating or floating on the water this summer you really need one of these to take with you!

Didn’t deliver
We lost all of our stuff on the river because it didn’t stay inflated more than an hour. Couldn’t see a hole anywhere. It seemed very sturdy, but it that was short lived.

doesn’t keep ice
We took this out on a river float. It didn’t come with rope or anything to tie on with. We did a 6 hour float and put in 2 bags of ice with our beverages. By hour 2, all of the ice had melted. I think it would have worked better if there was some kind of insulation on the lid. We only got beverages out of the small vertical zipper to minimize heat impact. The one great thing is the zip up lid, this prevents things from dumping out if you hit rapids and it flips.

Works well with an unexpected benefit
After a recent sandbar excursion on the river, I’ve confirmed that this floating cooler is a must-have. Typically, accessing drinks from a cooler on a swim platform is a hassleâeither I blindly reach for something or have to climb out of the water, which is inconvenient. I’ve tried other “waterproof” coolers, but they often tip over easily, which is really bad news if they’re not zipped up properly. This cooler is designed with its aquatic environment in mind, not as a mere add-on feature. Its low-slung design prevents it from tipping and allows for easy visibility and access to contents even when you’re still in the water.Key Features:Capacity and Durability: It holds roughly two cases of cans with ample room for ice, crafted from thick, heavy-duty vinyl to endure various water conditions.Practical Design: Equipped with sturdy handles, it’s best filled while already in the water to avoid the need for cumbersome transportation when loaded.Considerations: Unlike traditional coolers, this one isn’t insulated. Ice melts quicker at the top due to sun exposure but stays cooler at the bottom, courtesy of the water’s chill. For those looking to extend cooling times drastically, you can nestle a waterproof cooler inside this floating one, combining their benefits for prolonged chill.Overall, this floating cooler not only meets the practical needs of a day on the water but enhances the experience by keeping refreshments secure and accessible without constant interruption to your fun. Whether itâs for a party on the lake or a quiet day fishing, this cooler stands out as a top performer in aquatic environments.

Does what itâs supposed to do.
Good product. Floats well and seems durable. Doesnât track well but I didnât expect it to without some sort of keel or rudder. Doesnât keep stuff cold for long but it has multiple uses, as both a drink carrier or as extra equipment, camping gear carrier.
