Lots of seeds and great color variety
This pack comes with over 1,500 sunflower seeds in a mix of colorful varieties, and itΓ’ΒΒs a nice option if you want a little height and brightness in the garden without a lot of effort. The germination rate is good, as long as the soil is warm and you give them regular water, most of the seeds seem to sprout quickly. Some grow short and bushy, others get tall, so you get a nice mix of shapes and sizes.The flowers come in more than just your basic yellow, there are reds, oranges, and some softer pastel shades too, depending on what sprouts. They look really pretty once they start blooming, and they also attract bees and butterflies, which is a bonus if you’re trying to support pollinators.The seeds donΓ’ΒΒt have any weird chemical smell or coating, and the packaging keeps them dry and easy to store. For $9.99, you get a generous amount, and it’s a fun, low-maintenance way to fill up garden beds or even a few big pots. Great value for the variety and amount you get.

Way short on quantity and quality of seeds in the packet.
This morning I tilled my garden plot so I could start planting seeds–including these sunflower seeds. I received the seed packet about a month ago, but didn’t open it until this morning. The packet said there were 40 seeds inside. I counted, and there were only 24. Further, from the looks of the seeds in the packet, fewer than half were viable–I planted all of them, but based on the looks, size and shape of the seeds, I’ll be lucky if half a dozen of them will ever sprout. I bought this packet because 40 seeds were all I needed, figuring if half of them grew to maturity, it would be perfect for my garden. Due to what I saw in this packet, I ordered a larger packet, hoping for a better outcome. I heartily do NOT recommend buying this seed–or from the company that sells them.
