Nice inexpensive solution to cooling a smaller area.
I think if you understand what this is, you’ll be super happy. If you’re looking for a top tier product that will survive abuse, you’ll possibly not be in alignment with the product. The product is very inexpensive plastic, from the base to the shaft, to the wands that have the misters at the end. As such, it will be very lightweight.You fill the base with water to begin. I had thought about using sand instead, but you can’t because the base is all open. If you put sand in there, then there’s a high chance you won’t easily get the bottom shaft into place. So, stick to the water per the instructions. The the shaft has a lightweight knuckle to allow a small ability to adjust the height.At the top, there are the wands with misting tips. The main downside is these are not terrible stiff. Meaning, if you adjust it, there’s a decent chance it will swing back a little or quite a bit, depending on gravity and “memory” it has. I’m using this to mist a large patio area (15 feet by 20 feet roughly) so I’m not really bothered if I adjust it and it swings back a bit. I live in the Southern California Inland Empire area, where the mountains become mountains, so the summers will hit 115 degrees Fahrenheit. Today is was getting into the 90s and we tested it out and were very happy.I have no illusions this will last 5-10 years but it should be good for a couple years. It leaked super bad at the spigot connection, so I put a bucket under it and I’ll troubleshoot that later on. For now it works and I’ll use the bucket of captured water leakage to water nearby lavender plants.

A BIG HIT!!!Super great mist.. like the kind you see at a park. – fine particles, feels amazing. Literally perfect amount of fine cooling mist. Hooked to the house spigot with no leaks at all. Hooked to the hose end with no leaks at all. One of the five spray heads had a few catywompas directional sprays but this machine worked amazingly!!The stand is strange to me.. because it works SO well except the middle piece that holds the top and bottom rod together – just pulls up and out. No tightening or fit other than one sliding in the other.. so you cant pick it up to move it anywhere above that mid joint.The base fills with water and thus holds itself steady.We LOVED it!! The whole family enjoyed it for hours today.

I love this! I just wish the instructions were a bit more clear. They aren’t terrible instructions, but they could use some improvement. I feel like it’s kind of out of order, and I had to read over them a couple of times before I got a better idea of what to do. The price for this mister is pretty good. And I love that it is height adjustable! One other thing I wish this had was more nozzles than 4. It is going to be so nice and comfortable for my adult family home residents when we garden on the deck in the sun!I feel like the durability will be good, although the base of it felt a little less sturdy than I would prefer. No leakage as of yet, and I will do an update further down the road.

Good for the price
I have a heavy duty misting fan that is durable, but heavy and bulky. I bring it out for backyard parties. I wanted something more lightweight for days that it’s just myself or a couple of people. This does the trick. It’s designed very differently from the one I already have, but it’s a good value for the current price. The large misting fan that I have was expensive. This one is easy to use and adjust.
