Honestly gorgeous dishes. Simple.
Really beautiful set of dishes. They were packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. So far they have lived through several meals and cycles through the dishwasher and they still look great. They do not scratch and wash very easily. The dinner bowls are a surprise favorite. They are reasonably sized and perfect for pasta, ramen, rice bowls, etc.. They look very high-end and restaurant quality.

Set your expectations. Great set for the cost.
First – keep in mind how much youâre spending on this product. There are slight imperfections with the glazing on a few pieces which are noticeable if youâre closely examining a dish/bowl. Everything was packaged really well. They are made in China which I had neglected to look for before purchasing. I normally prefer to buy from elsewhere.I got the service for four, white with black trim. Great purchase. I appreciate that the raised rim will prevent any spills if a plate gets tilted when carrying. Although a bit of a modern shape it doesnât âscreamâ modern. I also have Lenox Butterfly Meadow and these will blend seamlessly with the serving pieces (I havenât spent time seeing if I like to mix the plates/bowls with one another). They do have a bit more weight to them than I expected. If weight is a top factor in decision making I would suggest shopping in person. Iâm keeping my set and believe they will hold up well. Iâm pleased.

Bought two I loved them so much
I bought two sets and I LOVE them. Iâve always used a pasta bowl and have never been able to find a dish set that has them included but this one does! The little bowls are also a great size for soups, cereals, or chilis. And the lip on the plates is fantastic for serving children, or messy eaters, saucy foods.I do think they are a little heavier than Iâd expect a dinner set to be but itâs not too bad that Iâd get rid of them. Kind of makes them seem more expensive in my mind.Dishwasher and microwave safe, never had a problem with chipping. And they are packaged incredibly well.

Highly recommend
I love these dishes! Iâve had them for months now and no cracks or chips in any of the pieces. Definitely recommend! What made me choose this set over others that I was looking at is the two different sizes of bowls.

Good-looking, clean style
We love these white-and-blue dishes and their Danish-inspired style perfectly complements our kitchen. The bowls are a great size for soup or oatmeal. One of the plates does have a small chip on the underside.

Itâs just OK (detailed review)
I bought two sets of these dishes to replace my 10-year-old everyday stoneware. Iâve only been using them for about a week so I canât speak to durability, but they seem heavy, solid, and probably able to withstand daily use pretty well.Pros:1. Well packaged, all 32 pieces arrived intact without chip or blemish.2. High-gloss finish (although this could be a negative for some, I wasnât expecting it and would have preferred a more matte finish but in re-reading the description, it says glossyâand it really is so I guess itâs accurately described)3. Love the dinner/pasta bowl and that is the main reason I chose this setârare to find a reasonably priced set that includes both pasta and cereal bowls. Itâs very plain bowl, as you would expect, but itâs well sized and very functional. Feels good in the hands and looks nice on the table.4. Itâs a very heavy set. Again this could be a negative (it was for me, I was expecting a more porcelain-type feel and weight), but if youâre used to stoneware or ceramic and like that heft, youâll love this set.Cons:1. Lots of minor imperfections and irregularities in individual pieces. If they were hand glazed or hand finished or whatever, that would be fine, but it speaks to a lack of quality control in manufacturing and makes them look and feel cheap. Which, letâs be honest, they kind of are for the number of pieces you get, so I guess you get what you pay for. But if youâre looking for a set that can do double duty on the kitchen table and the dining table, this isnât it. I would not use these for anything but casual dining, just too clunky and cheap-looking. It also makes me worry about longevity and durability.2. The Gibson stamp and writing on the underside of the plates smears and begins to disappear after just a few turns through the dishwasher. Probably not a big deal since most people wonât inspect the bottom of their plates but again, it indicates a cheapness that I find unexpected and off-putting. I didnât expect Mikasa or Lenox quality at this price, but I did expect something nicer than you could buy by the piece at ikea or Walmart. This feels very much like the latter so I feel like itâs misrepresented as to what youâre actually getting. And because of that, I donât think the price is all that great. You can get similar plates at Walmart for about $2 each for dinner and appetizer plates and the quality is about the same. So these feel overpriced for the quality of the set. If the pasta bowls werenât included, I would have given this set 1-2 stars but that addition brings the value up a bit just because they are so hard to find at a good price because theyâre so trendy right now.3. The white is more of a grayish whiteâwhich again might be fine if thatâs what youâre looking for. I was hoping for a true white, my tableware and linens are in warm tones. The grayish cast is very noticeable in sunlight and normal kitchen lighting.Bottom line:This set is budget priced but presents as cheapâI feel like itâs a step below what you would expect at this price point. Itâs probably fine for casual dining, you get a very nice variety of pieces to suit most needs. But it would look very out of place alongside your nice serving pieces on the dining table. In retrospect, I would not buy again but repacking and returning is too much work. Not really happy with this purchase but might be equal parts my fault for expecting an actual bargain and the manufacturerâs for representing this as something more than cheap ceramic dinnerware.

They say you get what you pay for. Bought 2 of these to replace my old dinnerware. Each plate and bowl has a dimple/bump in the middle of the dish. Some areas around the plate rims are rough so not properly vitrified. The description state that they are lightweight, they are not. They are closer to ceramic than fine porcelain. I might be biased as I am replacing bone china that I use every day which is quite lightweight and fine. I am returning both sets.

Perfect to serve food not to heavy exactly to match my table

Really nice design and great (soup) bowls but not well made. The dinner plates and the dessert plates have the circular marks reflecting the bottom shape and there are quite a lot of marks/imperfections on the surface of these two plate designs. The bottom rims are also very rough and would scratch the surface of the plates belowwhen stacked. I am returning the entire set unfortunately.
