I ordered this garden tool set for my mom for Christmas, knowing how passionate she is about her garden. As an avid gardener, she needed a quality toolset, and I thought this would be the perfect gift to support her hobby.The garden tool set includes a diverse selection of essential tools such as a trowel, transplanter, weeder, hand rake, and pruners, covering a wide range of gardening tasks. Although the tools are made from economy-grade steel, which means they’re cost-effective, it’s important to keep them away from moisture to prevent rust and deterioration.The handles of the tools are ergonomically designed and provide a decent grip, but I did notice that the metal could bend if too much force is applied during use, so caution is advised. Among all the tools, I particularly liked the pruners, which feature a sharp, precision blade that makes clean cuts. However, one drawback is that you need to be careful with the spring mechanismâif it gets snagged, it can pop out and easily get lost, which could be frustrating.The small bench that comes with the set is constructed with durable canvas material, but it’s designed to be on the narrower and lower side, making it a bit challenging for some users. It is, however, significantly more comfortable than sitting on a traditional five-gallon bucket. The bench features a handy storage bag equipped with snaps and handles, allowing you to carry it easily instead of having it permanently attached underneath.I appreciate how lightweight the bench is, along with its horizontal tubes for feet that should work fairly well in various soil types. The stitching appears to be of decent quality, but I did notice that pop rivets are used for the joints, which might wear out over time with frequent use.Overall, this garden tool set will serve my momâs needs adequately, but I worry that the design of the low stool could make it more difficult for elderly gardeners to get up and down comfortably after working in the garden.

Handy economy grade garden tool set
This garden tool set has a wide selection of tools. Since they are of an economy grade steel, you wil not want them exposed to moisture. They have decent handles, but the metal could bend if you get too agressive. Out of all of the selection, I like the pruners that have a sharp blade so they cut well, but you will have to be careful not to snag the spring or it can pop out and easily lost. The small bench has durable canvas but is on the narrow and low to the ground side. This will be more comfortable than sitting on a five gallon bucket. It has a storage bag with snaps and handles if you want to carry it instead of having it attached underneath. I appreciate that it is lightweight and horizontal tubes for feet that will work decently in soil. Stitching is decent, but unfortanately pop rivets are used for the joints which will easily wear out. This set will work okay for my needs, but it may be more difficult for elderly people to get up from so low of a stool.

The folding stool has pockets to hold all the tools included in the set but is not very comfortable to sit on for someone without much padding. It might work OK for someone under 100 lbs but not safe for much more than that. It has handles for easy carrying. It could be a gift for a child just learning to garden.While the set includes a good variety, the tools are of low quality and made from thin sheet metal which will bend and rust over time when used. Experienced gardeners will want something much better that will last longer.

It arrived super fast!
I’m an avid gardener that is constantly losing her gardening tools. I’m also disabled, so having a place to sit whenever I need to do it, is a must. This set covers both those problems. The stool itself is quite small though. I was worried my buns would not fit. It’s approximate size is about 10×10″ and my buns boast of bigger numbers than that lol. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it would work in a pinch and that’s what I needed it for. The material is really sturdy, so I don’t think anyone will have to worry about it ripping on them.Overall the set is well made, although the spray bottle is almost microscopic. The tools have sturdy wooden handles, but no grips. Those would have been nice to add because wooden handles can be brutal on sensitive hands. They are not hard to make though and the problem could be corrected with some electrical tape wrapped around them or just purchasing grips that will fit. The gloves fit my fat fingers, which is always nice. I have a hard time finding gloves that fit me right, but they seem to be pretty good.The satchel that came with the tools is well made and snaps to the chair, making it easier to carry to your destination. Once there though, it is wise to unhook the bag before you sit down. Some of the gardening tools can be quite sharp. It’s just the nature of the beast. You just have to be careful so you don’t accidentally hurt yourself. It has everything you need to keep your garden looking it’s best and would make a great gift for beginning gardeners.
