Impressive product.
All I can say is wow. This item arrive fast and was packaged very well. It was actually really really impressed with how well it was packaged. Instructions were large, visible easy to understand and read and assembly was even easier. Itâs just like Legos need to make sure the arrows are pointed follow the directions and they snap together. Donât try to force the snap. It does not take much to put these in place. I think it took me all of 30 seconds to put mine together. Much much sturdier than I had initially thought, and the quality was way better than I expected. I got this on sale for a great price. I couldnât resist it. I might have to go back and purchase a few more. Now, as far as waterproofing as long as itâs not sitting in a puddle for like weeks on the end, itâs quite waterproof.

The box was fairly easy for one person to put together
As a single 60 yr old woman, I was able to put this together. Here are a few notes for future builders. The hardest part of course is attaching the sides to the bottom and then the lid to the box. In the instructions they suggest using a rubber mallet to get the tabs to snap together. This didn’t work for me. What did work was using gravity and pushing down. Lay one side on a flat hard ground and hold the piece you want to snap into place with the tabs lined up, then just push down. It works very easily. If all the tabs don’t “connect” at the same time, then just push on them and they’ll snap in. Then carefully flip the pieces around so that the next piece to snap into place is coming from the top (your hands) and you can push down and snap it into place. You have to carefully flip the box each time so that the previous piece does not snap out (happened once to me) and it might break a piece of plastic. Then, to get the lid on, it would be helpful for a person to hold the lid at just the right spot so you can screw it on. I had to position the box at a post holding up my patio roof and lean the lid on the post just right to get the screw holes to line up. Surprisingly, it worked well. As for the box itself, there’s nothing particularly waterproof about it other than the pieces of plastic snap closely together. It’s very nice looking and I am happy with it. I had an extra piece left over (lol), but it wasn’t on the parts list, so someone out there might be missing their part “L” which looks like an end cap for something made out of the same plastic.

Keeps items dry that are placed inside.
Fairly easy to assemble. Keeps items inside dry. I use it as a coffee table and to store outdoor toys. I only wish it came in a lighter shade of grey.

Great for small spaces
I put it on the balcony of my apartment to hold some of my extra camping supplies to make room in my storage closet. Sadly, it is a bit small to hold the ammo crates that my camping cookware is in, but that’s on me for not measuring properly. So far it’s done a great job holding my small tent and a few other items. Definitely recommend for small apartments where space is valuable.

UPDATE: After a HEAVY thunderstorm on May 3rd, 2025, all contents inside of this are dry. We had a light rain a few weeks ago, and everything got wet. I changed my review from 1-star to now 5-stars, as it seems to be working perfectly fine, even though nothing has changed.

I liked the size of the storage box to put almost all of my back cushions for our lounge set we bought years ago! It stops the cushions from flying around our deck when we are not using them!
