Amazing heat, even better customer service!
I honestly wasnât expecting to be this impressed, but WOW. The patio heater works amazingly well (more on that below). However, after a couple of months of use, it would no longer ignite so I had to call customer service for help and they sent a replacement part. After receiving the replacement part from East Oak, my patio heater is working better than it ever has. It heats up quickly, distributes warmth evenly, and the flame is strong and consistent. I hosted a dinner party the same night I got it set up, and every single guest commented on how cozy and comfortable the space wasâeven with chilly temps outside.But what really blew me away was the customer service. East Oak followed up to make sure everything was perfect, and their team was warm, responsive, and genuinely cared about my experience. This kind of service is so rare these daysâit felt like I was dealing with a high-end concierge team.If youâre on the fence, donât be. The product is fantastic, and the company stands behind it with a level of care thatâs hard to find. Easily one of the best customer experiences Iâve had in years.

A beautiful addition to our 1600 sq ft deck. Very sturdy and seems well made. Packaged well. My husband put it together and had it up and running in an hour and a half. We bought the heat reflector also and am pleased with the performance of this additional easy on. It directs the heat to a more specific area. I asked, if the directions were easy to follow and he said “not too bad.” I have him frequently assembling something for me. So I’d say, he’s pretty skilled at that practice. We are purchasing another, as soon as I finish this review. It will be great for entertaining.

Extremely Hi Quality in every aspect
I used to think that all these patio heaters were the same, so just by the cheapest one. However, I was intrigued by the positive reviews of this model on the various reviews site, so I bought it, and it was far superior to others I have owned. It starts when you open the box and see the professional packaging. The instructions are clear and the quality and fit of all the parts is flawless. The appearance of the assembled heater is clearly a step above the others, it looks high-end. Finally, it works great. I was very impressed.

LOOKS GOOD, AND HEATS GREAT
I bought this last year and only used it a few times the first time I tried the igniter worked instantly and then the next few times it didn’t work at all. I had to use a big lighter. Not sure what’s wrong with it I took it apart and cleaned it looks like everything’s OK. It was very easy to put together and it looks pretty nice too. I got the heat shield for it also and that works great. I think it could use a better way of attaching it to the unit. It’s a pain in the butt if you wanna take it off and put it on every time, usually when you have to cover it. I definitely do recommend this unit.

It has a lot of power and easily warms up our outdoor space on cool California evenings. its design and looks perfectly complements my patio furniture, and I constantly get compliments from friends. Perfect for my application
This unit replaced a commercial heater I picked up used several years ago. That unit had a concrete material for a base and some type of foam block that absorbed heat, along with a similar metal heat reflector. It was mainly used on my deck with two chairs underneath, one for myself and the other for my wife. Over the years the concrete block failed and crumbled and the unit just became a hassle to clean each year with the spiders laying their eggs in the gas jet nozzle. This unit is not commercial, but it emits more than enough heat to keep us warm at night, or for that early morning coffee outside. Right now itâs in the upper forties and lower fifties in Connecticut, and with a sweatshirt and sweatpants, Iâm perfectly toasty at 4:30am. I donât even have the unit fully cranked – maybe 3/4 turned. The base is not as heavy, so I am concerned about those really windy days or major storms. I filled the base with water, but maybe I should try sand. Of course a full propane tank will add some weight too. It has a wheel base, so itâs easier to move than my commercial unit which had no wheels. Assembly took less than an hour, and it didnât require any additional parts or extra materials by me to secure the pieces. Everything it came with was sufficient to put this thing together. I recommend a power drill, and maybe a small socket wrench to really get the bolts tight. It comes with those cheap wrench tools that will do the job, but youâll need some muscle to use them. Hardest part was assembling the heat shield, only because itâs a metal circle reflector cut into three parts most likely to make this whole unit fit into a large box. Itâs a pretty big heat reflector. Plastic on the heat reflector was a pain, but itâs like that to avoid scratching. Donât know why⦠the unit is 7ft tall. Thatâs pretty standard height. My commercial unit was just as tall. Really, the difference here is the commercial unit had less assembly, so there are less tension points. Whereas this unit fits into a large 3×4 box, so youâre assembling the long tube in two pieces instead of one solid piece. I have the bronze model which looks pretty nice. For what you pay, itâs definitely worth the value. If itâs last five years, Iâll be happy. I donât plan on covering it or taking it inside during the winter.

The heat is there and is easy to light up.On the other hand, after one year, there are some spots (light surface rust) on the stainless(!) steel cover over the propane bottle. Iâm unable to get rid of them.
