works
Had a chance to use it multiple times now, floating in a pool and floating down a river behind a toob.. works great, keeps ice pretty good considering outside temps and times opened. The lids seal tight, no leaks, can storage estimation relatively accurate, I think I wanted more ice than they proposed due to nature of usage, had a few comments from passerbys about how “neat” it looked..

Great for the lake
This was the 2nd time I had to order the item. Love the idea and when it arrived, it was as described. Love the cooler. The delivery, well that is a different story. 1st one was late, then did not arrive. I called and they found out it was damaged in the process. Amazon never let us know just stated late. I ordered this plus some paddles. Amazon refunded me $50 for the total order. This was after I had to place a 2nd order. Over all love the cooler.

Awesome!!
This ice chest is absolutely amazing!! We like to camp at the river and walk down to spend the day. This ice chest makes it easy to bring our snacks and drinks for the day. We can pull it behind us down the trail and right into the water with no problems. The wheels are rugged and the low profile keeps it from tipping over. Once we get it into the water, we simply place a rock on the lead and it floats right where we are, no more back and forth to the bank for drinks and snacks. The separate openings also allows us to place things on top of the cooler such as a small speaker or cell phones.

Great for a kayak trip! Seals are tight and keep out the river water!
I had the Creek Kooler, the kayak-shaped cooler, but that one has a screw lid that could be hard to deal with on the water. You also needed someone to help carry the full cooler because it was large, awkward and heavy. I saw this and wanted to try it out. After using it on the water twice, I am very pleased! The rubber hold-downs keep the lids tight and being able to open it on each side makes it much easier to deal with on the water. The wheels make it easy to maneuver to the water and they’re small enough to stow under the elastic on the kayak when you get on the water. My only complaint is that it tends to dive when you are towing it and moving quickly, but that’s pretty minor.

Cheaply Made with Huge Price Tag
Overall, the Cuddy Crawler is a really cool cooler that floats well. However, it has a price tag of a Yeti while made with stunningly cheap pieces. While the cooler functions fine, it isn’t of the quality you expect for $300.Where it completely fails is the cheap Velcro used to fasten the wheels to the cooler. Once wet, you will find your wheels falling off if not on smooth ground. I’ve had these things fly off even with just a little gravel. Pulling it up a curb solo and slightly bump the wheels? They fall off. It’s astounding that they would charge $300 and put on the cheapest possible wheel system they could. Also, they didn’t consider anything about where to Stowe the wheels once you want to take them off. Seems like a missed opportunity for some ingenuity. I bought this to float the river in a tube. I have to tie the wheels to the sides of my tube to get them down river safely. I don’t have an answer for what they should do here, but it’s an obvious problem.Overall, it’s still a really neat cooler that got a lot of attention at the river, and I didn’t want to give just one star after all the compliments and intrigue. However, given how cheaply made it is and the outrageous pricetag, I felt a moral obligation to warn people that it’s looks are deceiving. To GoSports – Please make some kind of fastener to hold the velcro together so I don’t have to stress about the wheels falling off every time there is a bump on the road.

Even Better Than Expected
Only assembly needed is to strap on the wheels which takes 10 seconds. The highlight of this cooler is the four wheels with pulling strap. This thing just glides even when itâs packed full of ice and beverages. It also has 4 cup holders which is better than most others. The two handles on the side also make it easy to lift and are pretty well padded for when you have a full heavy cooler to throw in the vehicle. Take all those features, then make it float, and you got a great cooler. Just roll it from the car straight into the water and never get out again until itâs time to leave. I give it five stars because itâs truly great on land or in the water, good all around cooler. The only other thing I can note is im not sure how much weight it could withstand if someone sat on it. Iâm about 200lbâs and it felt ok but im not sure id trust it enough if a weighed much more. But hey, its a cooler not a bench.
