This is metal and it came in pretty banged up. Sending it back and not reordering. I would have never picked a metal one to put outside. Iâll be finding something else.

Easy to put together. Solid construction! Swapped out the lava rocks for crushed glass!! We have it out on our back deck and really enjoy it! A great value as well when many of these run anywhere from $500 to $700!!

Looks great, very rough annoying noise, terrible customer service from company. Buy with caution.
Extremely loud noise (hissing, whistling) when turned on. I went back and forth with Ciays customer service and they did absolutely nothing to help. Good luck if you have any issues. At one point they said it was the lava rocks making the noise while being heated (itâs not, which is why in my video there are no lava rocks present to prove it). Unbelievable. I tried using different propane tanks, Iâve done everything to tighten and make sure there are no leaks. While I donât have any major complaints about the installation process, I do have many for the companyâs customer service which is incompetent, worthless and completely unhelpful.Edit: Contacted Amazon and they are sending replacement. Weâll see if itâs any better.Edit 2: The new unit is mildly better after multiple uses, and Amazon customer service was excellent in their help. Unfortunately, you wonât have much luck with the companyâs customer service, they were worthless. Watch the video to see what youâre basically signing up for.
