Best purchase ever
I’m a housewife and I get bored occasionally. I hate using my cellphone to mark times of the day this clock has beautiful chimes. It’s not annoying either. We use it when we take naps. We lay down for an hour and when it chimes, we get up. Each hour I try to do something different. When it chimes, I check my chore list and do one or two items on it to keep up with my house keeping. I also love that it has an auto light detector. It only chimes when it has ample sunlight. I tried having it in my bedroom as a wake-up alarm clock which I loved because it went off at 7 am. But my tv was too bright and would set it off unless I turned the brightness all the way off and turn the contrast down slightly. I got tired of changing the tv every day, so I moved it back out into my living room for the whole family to hear. It’s just my husband and me. He loves the clock even though he’s tone deaf he can still hear the music. He said he likes it because it alerts him when he needs to get ready for work. It’s expensive but it’s pretty and if you learn the song rotation you don’t even have to look at the clock when twinkle twinkle little star plays its an hour if you hear a song longer than normal its either 3, 6, 12, or 9. It’s even going off now it’s such a beautiful clock. you can also manually adjust the volume if it’s too loud. There is also a button on the side that triggers the song so you can check the sound. It’s one of the best gifts for a lazy person to help motivate them.

Elegant and beautiful clock!
Beautiful clock! Works well and the music is melodious and soothing! When itâs dark, the music turns off. It is elegant and looks great on the wall. Donât forget it takes 3 batteries, I almost missed the 3rd one that goes in a different location. Without it, the clock wonât work. Of course it is made in China, a shame for a great company like Bulova!

Crystal pendulum doesnât rotate
Clock is beautiful but crystal pendulum does not rotate at all. Is there a way is can fix this?

Such a beautiful clock and made an amazing gift for my grandmother. The quality is absolutely gorgeous and even though itâs on the price your side, I would say itâs worth it. It looks much better than any other clocks I have seen and so far I have no technical issues.

Everything works except for the set button that is supposed to play songs when you push it. I live 45 miles away from a return place, so Iâm not going to worry about it, I wonât buy another that I was planning on for my daughter in law at Christmas.

I gave this clock as a surprise for my parents for Christmas, and let me tell you they absolutely love it! It plays 12 beautiful songs, and is enjoyable to listen to every hour. I couldnât have found a better gift. Excellent details on the inside and the design is absolutely gorgeous. I wanted them to have something in the living room that was similar to one that my Fatherâs parents have in their living room. This was the perfect choice!

Nice addition to the house
Each hour plays a brief bit of a tune. Bulova lists the tunes on their website with a symbol that allows you to listen to each and identify them (they are listed in the order of hours). Also nice to have it quiet in the dark if you decide to use that option. I recommend the clock – accurate and handsome.

Chime did not work and no provision for requesting a replacement, so I reorder. Very disappointed to see price jumped from $161 to $231. No way of contacting seller to query this. Very disappointed.
