Bulova B1864 Streak Tabletop Clock, Aged Silver-Tone 2.63 x 12 x 16

I really like this clock
I got this clock for my bedroom dresser. My previous clock was nice but after several years, the ticking sound was starting to drive me crazy if I woke up at night. Unfortunately the back of that clock wasnot accessible so I could not change the works to silent. I’ve had this bulova clock for several months ad I love it. Obviously, it is quiet. It’s not very heavy but appears to be made of thin metal & quite expensive looking. I was concerned because it’s “open” and I had to put it on a dresser with a mirror. However, the middle piece on the frame , the large hour markers and the thick, long hands made it non-problematic.I highly recommend this clock. It has modern elegance.

Nice “Weathered” Table Clock
This Bulova Streak Clock just arrived, so I can’t predict its reliability (although Quartz clocks seem a pretty hardy commodity).I can say that the piece boasts a handsome design, with a highly readable (open) face.The second hand moves smoothly, like its counterpart on a plug-in electric clock. That means no jerking movement forward every second, as on most Quartz clocks — and no ticking sound either.Other reviewers have referenced the somewhat funky quality control on display here, and indeed, if you look closely at the photo attached, you will see on the vertical panel just under the 12 o’clock marker and above the BULOVA name a little patch of light-colored smutch, which I was not able to remove with water or rubbing alcohol.I guess such imperfections can be expected with “aged” products like this one.But that slight quibble notwithstanding, I am pleased with the clock and expect to get years of service from it… I might add that Amazon had the best price I was able to find, and Prime delivered in just two days. Ex-cellent!

So Far, So Good!
UPDATE: Since having this clock, I am pleasantly surprised that it has kept accurate time. It has been over 3 months and this Bulova has not lost a minute since setting it up for the first time. Hoping it will continue to function properly. Time will tell.Pleased with this Bulova clock. Perfect size to see the time across the room. Even though it’s a larger clock, its footprint is smaller than I imagined. Love that there is the open space inside the area of numbers and clock hands. It is keeping time very accurately, thus far. Love that it doesn’t make the cheap “ticking” noise, too. Hoping that it will last for a few years. Recommended.

Great mantle clock!
I purchased this clock for the mantle in our family room. It keeps great time, and is large enough to give some definition to the space. It’s so nice, my friends don’t immediately realize that it’s a clock and not just a decoration! It’s a wonderful addition to our decor!
