Not for big jobs or any thick branches but will work well for my small garden.
I am taking one star off for the quality, even though you know what you are getting at this price point.For the price to get 2 stainless steel tools for my garden isn’t too bad. They have a tab that holds them together when not in use and when you open the tab they have a nice spring to them. I am left-handed and they work totally fine for me. I am going to be doing 2 small raised garden beds so I won’t be needing anything elaborate, as I won’t be doing all that much cutting. I am showing a clipping from a blueberry bush that died, so the bark isn’t as soft as it would be if it was still alive and it is a little on the thicker side. You can see the cut isn’t that clean and it was a little hard to clip, I actually had to use both hands….but it got the job done. I know it will be perfect for the fruits and vegetables I will be growing so I’m not going to send them back. If you have tougher jobs to get done with thicker branches, these are not for you.

It is ok. it works, but not really well. it does not cut some branches (event tiny) from the first cut. Very weird feeling when you prune brunches with no problem and suddenly it does not cut through the average branch. Like it is not sharp enough.Usable though.

Dangerous, metal failed, snapped lower scissor
Enjoyed these shears for several seasons but catastrophically failed this afternoon. Was working on a thin branch well within the diameter of the shears when the lower scissor suddenly snapped, a piece of sharp metal darting toward my face. Luckily was wearing eye protection, but not something that should ever happen. Please use carefully.

It wasn’t nearly as durable as I had hoped. I only used it occasionally, so there is no question of accumulated wear. It did work very well, then the blade just snapped.

I really liked the look of the picture when I bought these. Was hoping the quality would live up to it.A little disappointed when I received. Bought them 6 months ago. Started using them in the spring.They just broke. I do not feel I was hard on them. Disappointed
