Beautiful clock … I am very pleased with this one. I got the smaller version and put it on a wall in my bathroom, this one goes in the living room/dining room area. It is a really nicely made clock. Real wood and for the price, beautifully made. It is a silent clock. My only problem with both of them is that the battery spot is tight to get the batteries in and out. I used Energizer Max. If you are on the fence, packaged well, and it really is a high end looking clock. This has wood/glass, and metal. It is real wood, not engineered. Enjoy!

What a FUN clock!
I love this clock — it’s a nice size and makes a very fun focal point on a plain wall! The clock did not come with any instructions, but it’s a clock. It takes a battery for both the pendulum and the clock hands, so be aware that on the back side, the battery holder nearest the clock hand mechanism will run the clock and the smaller, more obscure battery holder nearest where the pendulum connects, will keep the pendulum moving. Without BOTH batteries, only the clock hands will move and not the pendulum.

Looks exactly as pictured.
When installing the batteries, the pendulum bar crosses the battery compartment, so if you look closely at the bottom of the pendulum bar where you attach the actual pendulum- you’ll see in tiny letters “push” with an arrow. You unsnap the bar by pushing gently and that releases the bar and the pendulum. If you wish for the pendulum to swing, you must leave that bar unhooked so it has free range of motion. I would have given 5 stars if the counterweights were functional rather than just ornamental

Elegant and quiet, compliments any decor, with precise timing.
My mom moved into an ALF and I bought this clock for her. It is quite elegant and very easy to read the dial. She has had the clock up for two weeks now and the time is still precise. The clock seems to be well made and is lightweight and easy to hang on the wall using just one mid-sized Gorilla hook. It fits in nicely with her other wood furniture. The pendulum is very quiet and the second hand is a continuous movement instead of the click for each second, which makes no sound either, another plus. The “weights” are only decorative and do not move. What attracted me initially to the clock is that she used to have a grandfather clock that my dad had made from a kit, and the face is very similar. She also prefers the standard numbers over Roman numerals as well. She has 10 foot ceilings in her apartment so the size is perfect as it fills in a void on the wall as a decorative piece of furniture in its own right. Overall, very pleased and highly recommend both the clock as well as the seller, Aero Snail. Secure packaging, prompt delivery, competitive pricing. Thanks!

Total waste of money, changed over batteries 2x Nothing works. Christmas was stressful onto of being sick. Lost track of time through it all, missed return time frame. Wall art is all. Very very disappointed. Had to give a rating in order to submit, otherwise it would be zero stars, if I could it would be negative.

Unique clock, I was going to buy smaller one but this one makes a statement that the little one couldn’t, especially with the bubbled glass. I was looking for a pendulum clock and this one is very silent .
