Don’t underestimate it!
When I first received this fire pit, I was a little bit concerned by how thin the metal seemed. However, it went together easily enough, and I found its place of residence in my yard.A couple of small cons to note here:1. It doesn’t like hills, regardless of how slight the incline.2. Any little bump, rock, or tuft of grass will make it so that it doesn’t lie down evenly. A heavier metal would have countered that with gravity, but you get what you pay for.So, onto actual usage. Since it wouldn’t lie flush to the ground, I sprayed an extra heavy ring of water around the fire pit before use. This ended up being a literal life saver because embers would often try sneaking out through those gaps in the bottom.However, this skinny little ring did it’s job spectacularly, corralling the sticks and brush I needed to burn and for the most part, keeping everything in place. I had no issues with it burning through the metal, and it’s not even rusted, though it’s now been outside for months.In the future, I’m probably going to try to dig a slight perimeter for it (and add a gravel liner) so that it lays flat, but otherwise, I have no complaints!

Quality firepit easy assembly
The hubby like this product and price. It was easy to put together and he said good quality. Had the firepit up and using in an evening. Nice size to have a nice fire. Would purchase again and recommend.

Wow what a surprise when it was delivered it came in a medium size box and I was thinking this is not what itâs supposed to be come to find out after it was all put together, It was exactly as described and pictured we have gotten many uses out this. The quality of the metal is kind of thinner than I wouldâve liked, but still very decent for the price! We were going to purchase one from Tractor Supply, but the one from Amazon was bigger and way better priced!!!!!!!!!

Excellent Value, Suboptimal Zinc Finish For Fires
When used as a fire ring, the zinc plating did not hold up at all and began surface rusting in short order. For my use, this isn’t a big deal and may attempt some high temp paint in the future. Also, the steel is quite thin, but that keeps the shipping weight down and handling easy for the consumer. All the hardware was included and even came with cotton gloves to protect against sharp edges – a very thoughtful inclusion!The value is great for the cost. It was easy to construct, and came with more than I expected. Aside of the finish not quite durable enough for a fire pit, it would probably be fine for a raised garden or other uses. Considered buying again as a gift.

Good quality, very easy to put together. I decided to coat the outside in black high temperature paint for barbecues and furnaces. Unfortunately you can’t coat the inside, as you can’t expose the paint to actual flame. To protect the inside during winter months, I’m just putting a heavy duty tarp over it. I also surrounded it with some rocks I found. All of this should help mitigate rusting and get a longer life out of it. The rocks could look better but I’m really satisfied with how this turned out.

Excellent item. Helps stop a fire from spreading. The height is 12â or 300mm. The ring is delivered in sections that you bolt together through predrilled holes to complete the ring.
