Great for now, not forever
The 42 is a great size. Assembly is not complicated but a bit fiddly. We’ve had two fires and are enjoying it. I expect it to last 2-3 years before needing replacement. It’s fairly light weight but definitely needs two people to move it around efficiently. (You can’t lift it by the table, so it’s awkward.)Overall, I am quite pleased.

Looks good and works great. Poker is short
I love this firepit. The only complaint i have is after it’s assembled, the top pieces dont match up perfectly. I assembled it upside down to make sure it was flat and there is gaps in different areas. Other than that it is plenty deep enough and so far is holding up great. The fire poker could also be a little longer but this is definitely worth the money. Looks good and works great.

I purchased this for my grandson & was told the cooking grills are smaller than expected. They have a tendency to lean or tilt when food is placed on them. Grills are not stainless.

Nice looking fire pit, easy to assemble, and has a lid.
This fire pit looks nice and arrived in good enough shape. It has a simple design and was pretty easy to put together. I needed something to contain the little fires I have in my backyard, as the laws for ‘open fires’ are confusing and I can’t even tell sometimes if I’m allowed to have any fire in my backyard or not! …with this pit I figure it’s pretty well contained and has the lid, so it seems a pretty safe way to do it.It’s on sale right now for about $90 and that seems fair, but I do wish the actual fire pit part, the main body of the pit, was a bit thicker. It is more of a good-looking item to have in your backyard as opposed to a very durable metal pit that will last a long time. For casual and light use this could be a nice addition to a backyard. I have a feeling that within a year or two, my big messy fires are going to really put this thing to the test. Also, you can see what the grills look like in the pictures on the webpage–obviously one of them isn’t a real picture, but the one’s where they show food on aluminum foil are more realistic, and the video on there shows them using aluminum foil too, which I’d recommend. They aren’t those super cheap, thin, metal grills you may have seen, but they are still more wiry than the grills on an actual BBQ. Perhaps they’d work for a sausage or something, you’ll have to figure that out!
