Just like all fire pits, it is advised to cover it when not in use. Covering it when not in use safeguards it from debris and maintains the condition of the fire pit. Can I use it on my patio? Yes. It is designed to be used anywhere outdoors as long as it is 13ft away from a timber wall and you have something non-flammable underneath to protect your floors. Is the lid weather resistant? Yes. Unlike real wood, poly lumber does not mold and requires zero maintenance. The powder coated aluminum rim that is around the lid also does not rust. Nevertheless, it’s advisable to cover the pit and lid when not in use (once it has fully cooled down) to safeguard it from debris and maintain its condition. What is the drainage hole for? At times, covering our fire pit might slip our minds. That’s why the drainage hole is a valuable feature as it helps prevent water accumulation within the fire pit during such instances. Does the base get hot? Yes. Prior to lighting a fire, position the fire pit as desired and avoid touching the base until the fire is extinguished and fully cooled. Does it come with a grill? Yes. Our 32-inch fire pit features a two-piece non-stick grill, enabling convenient refueling by lifting one side of the grill while cooking continues on the other.

This is a very nice, stylish fire pit (or fire bowl). Super easy assembly (3 screws + 3 nuts) too, but I do wish, was that it was larger. It feels a teeny bit small; also it is only 12â tall, so it seems a bit low too. Just sayinâ

I donât know how this product could possibly be made of cast iron. Have you ever seen cast-iron that scratches to reveal silver metal? It is clearly misrepresented, falsely advertised, and priced to suggest a higher-end product while being comparable to much cheaper coated steel or composite alloy fire pits, which I suspect it is. The materials are thinly coated at that, and just like everyone elseâs review states, mine also arrived damaged. Additionally, the screw holes didnât align properly, which made assembly cumbersome. It is not deep as stated itâs actually the most shallow fire pit Iâve personally ever purchased. And while it is heavy, it is not nearly heavy enough to be cast-iron or anything comparable and the overall construction feels flimsy and low-quality.I contacted the seller directly and was offered only a 30% price adjustment. When I raised concerns about the false advertising, they were dismissive and merely stated they would âreach out to their manufacturerââwithout offering meaningful accountability or resolution.Even at a significantly lower price pointâ$75 to $90, which would more accurately reflect the qualityâI would still leave a negative review. Nearly every advertised feature was the opposite of what was delivered.Additionally, while the lid fits the unit, it is not waterproof and leaks, which defeats the purpose of having a covered fire pit. More concerning, the underside of the lid is not fireproof or heat resistant. There is no warning or guidance about this in the documentation, but placing it on the unit before the fire is fully extinguished and the pit completely cooled could present a serious fire hazard.Update: I received a full refund through Amazonâs A-to-Z Guarantee without having to return the item, as the claim was clearly eligible due to misrepresentation, damage, and the unreasonably burdensome return process. If youâve experienced similar issues, I highly recommend pursuing that option.

Not so great!
Very nice except the paint just chips off. I took it out of the bubble wrap and there was little paint chips everywhere. Apparently the paint around the rim of the bowl is coming off. So dissapointed!

Product was delivered well packaged.This is made of stamped steel, not cast iron.It looks okay, but the lid is definitely not waterproof as advertised.So cannot leave any firewood stored in the fire pit.
